I feel like if you miss the target the round might fly through the forest and hit a sasquatch

Lol considering the location in the foothills of Mt. Hood, I’d say that’s a distinct possibility 😂

Bloody nice set up mate ! Gotta love the Mauser . As I’ve written before ,- I own a 1909 Argentinian ( German made )Mauser. Its nickname is ‘the laser’ . Cheers Thomas . Hope you had a blast on Independence Day 🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thanks, I certainly did! I really need to get my hands on an Argentine Mauser, I’ve heard nothing but good things

Ahhh merci Thomas j’adore cette arme et alors plus précise avec ou sans baïonnette comme le prétend la légende comme sur le Mosin Nagant ?🤔🤔🤔😉👌🙏❤️
@GreatNorthwestWeaponry17 күн бұрын
I haven’t personally experienced an accuracy difference with this one whether the bayonet is attached or not. With the Mosin it affects it more because the bayonet is mounted to the side and hangs directly on the barrel instead of a bayonet lug like the Mauser

That’s one long ass rifle I believe it’s almost 6 foot with the bayonet one

With that particular bayonet yeah, it’s pretty close

@@GreatNorthwestWeaponry is that the sawback one your using or is that a different one?
@GreatNorthwestWeaponry13 күн бұрын
@Outdoorsman2010 this is the Pipe Back (also called the Quill Point) it’s the early model, replaced by the butcher blade because it was deemed to be too long and delicate
@jaydenbethea9 күн бұрын
That bayonet has to be over 12 inches
@GreatNorthwestWeaponry9 күн бұрын
It’s a full 20 1/2 inches! It is quite absurd

The difference in metal colour might suggest you rebarreled it? Beautifull piece👌
@GreatNorthwestWeaponry17 күн бұрын
Not this one, it’s actually because the receivers on these were originally unblued or “in the white,” so they typically have quite a patina these days. The barrels, however, were typically blued 👍🏻 thanks for watching!
