Today I dismantled malfunctioning geyser.it was tripping even when the water speed was high. There was lot of scaling and deposits. I was planning to test the heater and the thermostat function without reassmebling all into the casing chamber and screwing in. Surprising coincindence that I too was had the same testing strategy in mind like one you showed in this video. Good presentation!.

Explanation is very good. There will be no problem if thermostat is connected otherwise bcoz power is coming through both. If red indicator lamp is connected at the both end of 65 degree centigrade thermostat, then red lamp will only glow when blue lamp will off (attend 65 degree centigrade) and when water heated further beyond 90 degree (set at the second thermostat) then red lamp will off, indication of power off through second thermostat and required to push knob to restart again.

Good explanation better use hand gllows. All wirings nearby should be provided or covered with thermo-insullater covering as a safety measure.Why both emergency MCB and Temperature Sensor ( Thermostat ) not immesed in water.
