The designer of Faisal Mosque was actually a Turkish Architect. The mosque is designed in the form of a tent.

The design of Faisal mosque is that of an Arab Bedouin's Tent. If you are interested in Mosques. Well, if you plan to visit Karachi then Tooba Masjid which has a Tomb design and a Kuchi Jam-e-Masjid which is in a Ship shape are worth seeing. Well, in other parts of Pakistan there are some 17th and 18th century architecture designed mosques too.
