Nice one. This song is almost 5 years old. It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. It is one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs ... but they do everything and that makes them the perfect band to collaborate with since they can adapt to virtually any other band's or artist's style. Polyphia are a mainly instrumental Prog Rock band from Texas. Tim Henson (white guitar) and Scott le Page (longer hair) provided and recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen.🎸🎸 BABYMETAL are Japanese. Su-metal, Moametal and Momometal. There were never more than 3 members. The original 3rd member was Yuimetal, she last appeared Oct 2017 and left the band Oct 2018. From there on Su and Moa continued as a duo supported in live shows by a dancer in the third spot. There were 3 dancers who would take turns (Riho, Kano and Momoko). From mid 2020 only one dancer was left - that was Momoko. She was revealed as the new official member of BABYMETAL in April 2023. BABYMETAL are supported in live shows by the Kami Band (2 guitarists, bassist and drummer). From 2013 the Kami Band were Japanese musicians. They last appeared in January 2023. In 2019 the Kami Band of the West (American musicians) came in to support BABYMETAL in the longer foreign tours. They have played every show since 1st April 2023.

She sings her heart out but doesn’t scream. In the past recordings Babymetal has had anonymous vocalists do the screaming . In a few songs a special guest artist does the harsh vocals. Very recently Babymetal’s newest member, Momoko Okazaki(Momometal) has been credited with some harsh vocals. Moametal is the primary dancer and inspirational crowd specialist. 🦊🤘🏾

Great reaction to a good track, although for me it would have been nice to see the guys make an effort (I know - their playing is superb - but they KNOW this is a show - maybe drop the "artistic integrity" routine just for a track?).

Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson (short hair on the right) and Scott LePage (long hair on the left), and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia are from Texas, they got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again last week at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. Yep, this was in Japan, although zhey repeated it in the meantime in Europe. It was always one of their slow songs, even when they realeased it 5 years before.But all these Collabs generate a lot new Fans, so it helps tho show them some diversity.

👍 👍 Easily one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it. Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows.
