Bye is such an emotional song from many years ago but it tells the true feelings of how members felt when they were betrayed and split up when their contracts were terminated early last year. The loneliness and tears was real for many of them and SinB said she didn’t know it was possible to cry so much. Knowing this make the lyrics of Bye so sad and relatable and I cannot hear it now without tearing up yet again. The emotion in their voices just emphasises the sad message of the song. But tragically they were never given the opportunity to sing this live to their fans to say a proper goodbye when their dreams ended last year. At least they are living a new dream now even if they still cry when they think about what they have lost. Like Yerin did just a few weeks ago during the reality show Sing in the Green when someone sang Cocktail Love that GFriend once covered and did a .I’ve performance of. She broke down hearing it again.

just had to let this out I'm a buddy when the news came out I was so heartbroken that I quit kpop and didn't follow any updates on gfriend members departure. I knew about viviz tho and that's it. your reaction video popped up in my recommendation and now that I listen to the songs again with you I cried. I was so scared to listen to gfriend's songs for the last two years now, I should move on. I should be happy for them, they are happy now and that's all matters! thanks for giving me courage I'll be checking out all your gfriend's reaction! :))

They have amazing live performances of Love Bug which make song even better. They also have a fantastic choreography for Flower Garden which you must see which took them ages to perfect. They even released a 25 minute video of them trying to learn the dance as it was so difficult, complex and powerful. You can watch a concert performance of that and a stage performance mix of Love Bug which should both be safe to upload. I can leave you links if you want.

Thank you for making such a great reaction to this album. I loved the fact that GFriend was able to touch your heart with such a beautiful but sad song as Bye. Please don’t apologise for tearing up as I was too. The song can be interpreted in so many ways besides the breakup of GFriend, missing a loved one no longer here is another powerful emotion that can be triggered by the lyrics and beauty of this song. GFriend always had a great relationship with their fans, giving and receiving so much love, which You are my Star so encapsulates. The lyrics expresses their hearts so accurately.

It's the most honest first reaction I've ever seen on this album. I've always thought it's one of GFRIEND's most personal albums, the songs have very emotional and dark meanings, it's inevitable not to get emotional the first time you hear "Bye", I remember I cried for almost 5 minutes once I finished listening to it, they played something inside me that very rarely someone or something manages to touch, I felt vulnerable after so long, the nostalgia of the song, the lyrics and the background it has is very sad, my favorite line is the first one that Yerin sings; it is so difficult to say goodbye, you never learn to say it, we never ask for it, the circumstances of life force us to do it, and it is very sad. beautiful reaction. ❤️

Honestly, from my perspective, it's really rare to see people from the west of the world having emotional on the ballad songs. Coz, they usually enjoy only hype upbeat songs. Bye is my fav rock ballad from GFRIEND.
