Cam Dempsey there is no right or wrong way to spar. You sound like an inexperienced spectator. Sparring is testing yourself and what you learned or worked on, with an opponent. Sparring is the closest level of practice before actual combat. Some prefer to go all out during this to push their body even further. Some use this as a time to just merely reflect on skill and timing. No right or wrong way to spar. Get that amateur thinking out of your head.

Definitely a right and wrong way to spar. You spar in a way that maximizes what u are gonna get out of it. If you are goin against an Green fighter and proceed to beat the crap out of him, what are you really getting out of it? You should be working defense, timing, angles etc. And, for that matter, only sparring advanced people, and going hard, will break your body down, as well as potentially killconfidence while really just learning to take a beating.

I was wondering for almost half the spar on why he doesn't use his traditional strategy of putting pressure, cutting corners and slip through in close range, but then it hit me that he was taking a different approach where he wasn't hurting his partners and letting them gain experience and actually train. Honestly, GGG stands for Good Guy Golovkin.

Have half the trolls in here ever step foot inside a boxing club? Better yet a ring to go let's say two, 1 min rds? I don't think so, but we get all these comparisons and records and previous bouts and promises and predictions. I get it not all who watch the sport go in the sport but I will say this, reserve your judgments, anything at anytime too anybody can happen in there, respect each fighter respect the sport till you put your work in, see what's it's like being out worked no matter what you do, or having a night where everything works. You wanna know who you are? Go join your local club put a few months in training earn your ring time, then maybe you'll appreciate what both guys are putting on the line, why the fight, you can call it money and it's part of it no doubt none of us work for free however it's much more than that to a fighter. You can't be rich till you are successful. Aside from lotto. Peace ✌🏻

but will he ever go up in weight and fight.... probably not... 34 years old and not getting any younger...test your skills in bigger divisions like all legendary champions.... #overrated

Casanova 9911 why does everyone hate on ggg and him not going up in weight? what part of him wanting to unify ask belts do all of you not comprehend? bernard Hopkins defended his middleweight title like what 20+ times? I NEVER hear anyone complain about him taking so long to move up. He'll get there eventually.

Ryan1EZ ....really dude? Heck Manny and Floyd went up several weight classes by the age of 34....it's proof that his résumé suck and he's afraid to move up in weight.... he only wants to fight smaller fighters. That's the reason I don't jump on the GGG hype train... he's almost 35 and haven't left his division plus we just heard about him like 5 years ago or so...that's bcuz he fights nobodies and the most overrated champion in history...y'all can talk about him waiting to unify...his old ace needs to stop being scared to go up in weight... until then, stay at 160 in that weak division with a bunch of nobodies.

this guy's about 3 fights away from being brutally stopped,35 years old and doesn't have any big wins on his resume, has a face first style when he faces canelo hel get crushed with counters. it's a shame I love ggg but let's be honest at 35 fighting this style means it's only a matter of time he gets beaten up

he does that vs oppoents that have no power moron, thats why when u see guys like brook wade or monroe hitting him it doesnt affect ggg what so ever, you dont see GGG doing that against guys with power like lemiuex do you? guarantee he wont fight like that with jacobs either, GGG has a good defense he just likes to employ a certain style that allows him to bait his opponents in and then catch them with something big.
