She most likely took them all to that pocket dimension she has, the one where Rex got trapped in one episode, so they could avoid the cure wave. It was obviously a hook for next season that never materialised.

@@MizantropMan yep. But still, some great fan fictions can come from this open ending. With Black Knight and the gang still around with presumably a small fraction of their power. Van Kliess and his gang still being EVOs and his power to awaken others. Not to mention life after the cure, what happens next is one of the best thing a creator can leave the viewers with. My guess, VK starts running a small business of giving people their powers back for a price. With ultimate power gone, he might be able to remember what he learned from tasting it and recreate it. With the help of Black Knight. And Rex is going to have to stop them.

That's excellent point they could spent way to much time on big fight with the Consortium but it will be pointless and boring I actually loved this direction that they went with

What I hate about it is that rex does the classic "too much power for anyone" hero shit. He could've solved world hunger, diseases, genetic deformities. Not to mention nanites still exist and his arch nemesis is still free, not behind bars where they know he's useless now that nanites have mostly been deactivated. What are they gonna do if kleiss finds a way to reactivate all the nanites? Worse, what if he makes an imperfect, yet still usable version of the meta nanites? What then? If rex is worried he'll start abusing the power, simply split authority among people he trusts so that if they ever need the power again permission from 4 other people besides him are needed, like what Ben does with alien X prior to gaining full control.

I hate this trope. No one would give up this kind of power without a VERY good reason

@@GaleGrim ANY power that can be used for good can also be used for evil. No exceptions. This trope is only useful as a narrative excuse to avoid power creep or the character inability or lack of desire to have responsibility for the power usage.

@@PauloPontes Whilst it is true that power it self has no moral values one way or another, but in stead has it's moral value determined by it's use... A person does have an inherent moral fiber that determines weather they use that power correctly, and for many their moral fiber degrades as their power increases. The point here is that their are some powers too potent to put in anyone's hands and risk their corruption. It's show Rex's virtue that he would give up that power rather then risk becoming corrupted by it and hurting the world he fought so hard to protect. Essentially, Rex is disarming the massive narrative nukes that are the master control nanites forever, because he realizes the only way to win that game, is not to play it. No one can rest easy until a power like that is off the table permanently. I mean be real, even if you could guarantee no one else would ever get their hands on them, would YOU trust a 16yr boy with that kind of power? Warping space, time, matter, and all that jazz? SHOULD you trust a 16yr old boy with that kind of power? That's a lot of responsibility to be placing on a 16yr old. To be placing on anyone really. Especially when with one command it could be rendered a moot point. Mixed in with that is a dash of the fact that the power isn't an inherent and unextract-able and unexploit-able facet of Rex. The master control nanites are the source of the power. People will never stop chasing him for them, and every encounter with those people risk the nanites falling into their hands. So instead he permanently deactivates them for everyone, no one gets to use them. Because he is also on the list of people they don't listen to anymore people can't even try and force him to reactivate them, because they can't be reactivated. No one should have this type of power. It's too much for anyone. Their is no good reason to keep that kind of power around when the risk is so high for it's misuse.

I absolutely loved Generator Rex and wished there was one more season. There were a lot of great shows on Cartoon Network back then and I feel like Generator Rex was definitely one of the best ones.

I totally agree with you Jorge! I also feel like Rex is extremely powerful bc he can combine his different builds simultaneously which makes him unstoppable one on one! Along with that, he has 3 transformations, the evo form, the omega1 form, and his reversal form!

Ben has an ego as huge as Way Big but a bit justifiable since I mean he stopped an intergalactic warlord many times as a kid and teenager, fought some time hoppers, prevented an alien invasion by curing those invaders, then recreate the whole freakin universe using Alien X because that former universe got wiped out by the Annihilarg, fought a timehopping alien and witnessed the real creation of his prime universe. If one thing disappoints me it's that we never got a show with him as Ben 10,000 but luckily we have a fan comic titled Five Years Later that crossovered Ben and Danny Phantom. Also Generator Rex made a brief cameo in chapter 9 of that comic.

Technically he still has them but way I see it, since he shut them down he can't communicate with them to turn them back on. Yes he still has his but they weren't designed to activate them so he would need to learn how to reactivate them. And at that point he'd probably know how to make them, making it pointless to reactivate them since he could also just make new ones.

I think that he for sure has his own name But the major problem is that he seem younger than Rex. We know Ben and Rex are roughly the same age and Kevin is older than Ben

@@TheRareware64 It was. I liked it as well. It resolved a lot of plot points. The problem is the pacing. It's trash. What did the consortium do to the world? Donno, next scene. What are the full potential of the consortiums god powers? Donno, next scene. Don't you think Rex choosing to transform into his robot form should have been much more of a longer decision to make than just making a basketball? Donno, next scene. Don't you think because the build up to the Omega robot was so great, the battle should have been longer? Donno, next scene. Get my point? We get the scenes we want, but they are never flushed out. It's all _rushed._

The show was ended prematurely because ratings were too low and it was axed by execs.

Also I wish we got to see more of Jungle Cat, I was worried they would just completely forget about him after Rex's amnesia, I find it hard to believe that he didn't try to escape providenc for 6+ months to find Van Kleiss.

There are definitely a lot of unanswered questions regarding Breach and the other characters. Wish we could've found out what happened.
