Finally some guys who know how to play. Games were better back then (before MvC 2 &3) when you actually had to have some skill to pull off specials and combos, and a lucky hit at the start of a round didn't determine the outcome of it. With MvC 3 you can combo forever with full damage, and wins are stupid easy.

I agree with this in regards to Mvc3 but not Mvc2. Playing that game half decently is hard as hell, both in terms of strategy and actual execution.

@@SpiderGamerXxx Dude, Spider-Man was just as broken. Best character in MSH (isn't saying much, every character was p much godlike), top tier in MSH vs SF, is a top tier in MVC1. He only started being bad in MVC2 but he has some godlike tech in UMVC3, he just has high execution

I remember back in the 90's we had some of the sickest players at our Arcades. This game was at one point one of the most abused games. Loved it back then love it today.

The earlier Marvel Vs games are so much nicer on the eyes, the animations are much more fluid and the characters look way cooler as a result, not to mention, the 6 buttons make it so much more satisfying to do well with, I never got used to any of the other formats, especially the baffling UMVC3 one.

***** Pode ser que sim, ouvi falar que existe um tal de Macro que é tipo um programa que faz combos incríveis apertando apenas uns simples botões, não duvido que muitos no fightcade usem isso.

7:14.. damn that was such a huge fail and waste of good opportunity, no disrespect intended. He had such a clear window to counter with proton cannon of his own, then he messes up by not knowing how to land from flight quickly enough. I feel bad for the player though. He's been so close to winning a few times during the match, but just can't seem to close that win as the other player always seems to get ahead of him. Glad to see him finally one later on as blackheart.

Kyo Xtylee In marvel games small combos, droping infinite and low damage always are desvantage for a not bigcombo player like me, especialy if the oponent be a mastercombo player like TJ-Master, because the big combos or infinites from the other side takes more than 50% of life in the most of times. For me what the matter are estrategy and mind game, not the combos or just always win. I'm not sure if In these fights there was a dominated player.

Taikoubou1984 Tranquilo, yo a la primera pelea que me ganara con un combo asi de largo quitaba el juego XD. Los combos grandes se ven muy geniales pero no se si sea muy justo usarlos contra cualquiera, tambien me gusta disfrutar de los juegos y una pelea asi no la disfrutaria en absoluto por que no tengo el tiempo para practicar y practicar y practicar los combos, Yo jugaba mucho estos juegos en mi infancia, pero hoy dia todos los juegos tienen combos infinitos y eso es lo unico que la mayoria aprende y practica, la estrategia y la divercion se fue al diablo, ya nadie disfruta los juegos, solo buscan ganar como sea.

Kyo Xtylee Sí, todo este tipo de juegos de CPS y los arcade en general también los jugué toda mi infancia, eran bonitos tiempos )los 90's cuando las arcades eran un negociazo) porque como bien puntualizas, la estrategia contaba mucho para tener realmente una habilidad para jugar. Pregúntales a los ultra fans de Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 qué tanto tiempo les lleva aprender un combo encadenado con todos los personajes y verás que te contestan que muy poco. En estos juegos tenías que buscar la manera de conectar al oponente para seguirlo golpeando tanto como se pudiera, pero sin descuidar la defensa. Lo divertido ahora es lo injusto con el abuso que hacen de los combos infinitos y para quienes no crecimos con super combos, se vuelve poco atractivo con poco tiempo de ver que ahora sólo con eso se cuenta para ganar los matches y los torneos, incluso. Saludos desde México.

DavidSpeed141 Lo peor es que ya todos usan trucos o comandos donde graban la secuencia de combos y al solo apretar un boton salen los combos por si solos, Me siento viejo al desir que los jugadores de hoy dia ya no saben lo que es jugar XD

+Kyo Xtylee Holap! no uso comandos ni trucos para jugar marvel super heroes, yo desde mis 6 años de edad juego 100% manual, para jugar en fightcade o el anterior GGPO, uso un PSP conectado via USB, el psp solo tiene 6 botones contando L y R, todo es manual y tienes razon en tu primer comentario, actualmente ya no uso mucho a Iron Man, me duele demasiado los dedos, ya k es 100% manual ^^ saludos!

iron man is seriously one of the best fighting game characters ever made. Magneto is also incredibly awesome/good too. (btw yes I KNOW he's a comic character, what I mean is his character design as a video game character is very good).

Either it's me or they're using tool assists to play this game, some combos are too good to performed by a human player, they tend to make mistakes, but this.. it's hard to believe.
