The possible difference I observed from this match is that Abby can do perfect Garuda Impact Oki in every knockdown, which is reversal safe meaty. Also he uses 6K kara Garuda Impact in blockstring very fluently, so he can easily keep offense even if the opponent FD. I am not quite sure if his defense is impressive, but it's important to be a good Pot too.

In the first 20 seconds of the match he just blocks three for three tatamis, his defense might be a bit better than average.

i have the same problem but im almost certain it’s just cuz they have way better game sense than we do
