Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I can't tell if this is sarcasm or the play was so beyond my intellect I just didn't understand the triple eddie play. Edit: I have since become a much better zato main than before and can confirm very smart usage on his part to draw it out for the surprise oppose play.

Recently got strive over spring back and have been on the grind so eventually I can get good enough to where I know the game so I can pick up harder characters like Zato (currently play Testament Elphelt and Bridget)

Honestly just start playing zato if you vibe with him, you really dont have to know how to do the harder combos or blockstrings. I mean the only way you can learn zato is by playing zato, so might as well start playing zato

@@patrickserrats6919yeah thats the main thing, I want to learn the game with an easy character bc im going to be getting punished by my opponent a ton and I don’t need to be getting punished by my character too, like running out of Eddie for Zato or bullets and concentration for HC One of the reasons I play two zoners is bc the fundies of zoning transfer to Zato, along with the fact that I genuinely love playing test and Bridget. It’s not like I’ll drop them when I pick up Zato either. When I start playing Zato I’ll most likely co-main Testament and secondary Bridget, so there’s a variety of reasons I haven’t done more then dip my feet into playing Zato

Both Zato and Asuka are unique, amazing characters in their own way; and the contrasts between the execution needed to play them adds depth and fun to playing them - one causes your fingers to cramp up, while the other one causes your hands to hurt. I hope Zato gets buffed in the next patch, or the following patch.

4:53, I love this kind of moment so much, It's a combination of two buttons that does two things, that is "get off me," and time stop. Even though it's a split second that everything stops, it leaves me alone with the thought of "wait, he's gonna bait the burst, isn't he?" and a little time to prepare for questioning my life choice while I'm playing devil may cry as the enemy.

The corner pressure mixups, where first he flies and attacks and lands and goes low. We've seen that. Then he lands and grabs. Nice, that makes sense. Then he empty jump land dust attacks from range. Bro's nasty

5:49 I think you can use drunkard shade there and punish their punish. I do it all the time on any dust button. It's the only move that isn't really effected by the negative frames

No. There is no such a thing as a move not affected by negative frames, you cant cancel dust into especials, the "Punish" on the screen means he couldnt even block after it and drunkard shade is not a reversal

It is not an anti air by any means, the hitbox does not match the animation on the sword, check dust loop before spreading bullshit on the internet. And by the way yes it should work as a fast anti air, the hitbox should match the sword slash albeit without upper body invulnerability

@@YoungYoung95nago c.S is absolutely an anti air, it reaches high, leads to insane reward even on trade, and on air block puts him in an incredibly advantageous situation. in this very set you can see that nbnhmr uses it as an anti air dozens of times and so does every other high level nago. its not a broken button or anything but you dont have to lie to make it sound weaker.

Bro. Nagori-stinkin-yuki. This character is crazy. You have to be so on point to fight this character. While he converts into something off any one of his humongous, fast buttons that do so much chip and put you into a 50/50 with every moment of the game. Elo Eddie's gonna regurgitate their favorite pro player advice "JUsT FuzZy GuaRD" like that works. Nobody is gonna fuzzy guard every hit. And nobody is going to react to every forward fukyo. But the cost of you not reacting to a fukyo is basically death. Fighting high tier in this game is wild. This is a 2187 elo zato. That is so high, and he's reduced to just super jumping up and down in a corner cuz the stress literally shuts your brain off. So stupid

You saying that "Elo Eddie's" are just going to regurgitate their favorite pro players advice doesn't somehow invalidate that advice. The advice pro players give is the advice we should be taking, and if we cannot implement it, it's literally a skill issue. Elphelt can very easily roll a bad player, and if they just say Elphelt is broken and needs nerfs because they cannot properly counter her, and do not consider the counter play high level players use, does that make her broken? Fuck no. Yes, you will not fuzzy everything. Yes, you will not react to every fukyo. You AREN'T supposed to. Having counter play to something doesn't mean it should lose 100% of the time. Counter play helps mitigate and sometimes completely negate something, but it shouldn't be this perfect thing that works 100% of the time otherwise what's the point of a character whose options literally cannot threaten you. You employ counter play to force the other player to overcome your counter play and you adapt to that. Ideally, that is how fighting games work. High level players employ proper counter play and beat the character all the time. He is a very strong character, no doubt, but he isn't this infallible God of the game these comment sections like to present him as.

You have to be on point to play as Nago and yes fuzzy jump and backdashing beat 90% Of what he does. No other character in the game is as balances and rewards good defense as much as Nago, get good
