Coming back to watch Day 1 Aba vs seeing how she's played now is wild. Gobou in this video barely spent any time with more than 1/4 meter, now it's rare to see top Aba's drop below half. It genuinely looks like she got stealth buffed without people noticing given how much her meta developed.

It tends to have the same problem anji spin had before fish. In many situations the opponent will still have better oki than you after you parry them. I'd assume gobou just doesn't think the risk is worth the reward.

One thing I've noticed is that ABA's transition out of Jealous Rage leaves her incredibly vulnerable, and it doesn't seem like she can pick up any combos out of it unlike Nago (iirc). Since any offense automatically drops, running out of Rage looks like it can be pretty disastrous. Though I could be wrong about this - it is just Day 1.

Way less risky than in XX. In her old setup, dropping out of her install didn't get you a time stop effect. You were wide open to getting violated during the whole animation.

I do not know how people are able to do that... Where they just 5k as soon as they hit them mid-air and have enough time to dash in or jump cancel to continue the combo... Anyone got any tips on how to do it? Because anytime I try doing this it feels like the game is trying to stop me from doing it. P.S I do not use left trigger to get easy dashes when playing this game as I prefer to play the OG way of moving around.
