I respectfully disagree. Think about what aba’s guage means to the opponent and how it might affect how they approach the MU. If aba’s gauge depleted slower while blocking or getting hit, the opponent would have no incentive to interact with aba while in her rage. The game would be telling them that the ‘correct’ course of action would be to run away, which goes against Guilty Gear’s offense-oriented design philosophy.

@copperCCSD thats not what they said (respectfully). They said specifically during throw. thats the problem, it takes jealousy to do just a normal grab as aba, which means you can be pretty heavily disadvantaged for being right on offence. I think if the opponent throws aba and it still drains its fine because the opponent's goal when youre in moroha is to waste time, and having her be punished for being wrong is probably good, but it seems like a bad call for it to drain during her own throw.
