From personal experience it's extremely hard to intentionally use possession to go through stuff like that, most times you're just looking to buy some time and the opponent just so happened to try hitting/throwing you at that exact moment. Not to say that it can't be done with enough practice though. I've been able to fairly consistently use possession to get through Ky's 623S in training mode. Best of luck if you do decide to try and learn the timings to get through throws and stuff.

Testament is low tier, but this is one of their better matchups and Phaxy is insane

@@thealmightyjanitorjenkins3678 nah more like mid tier. Phaxy is high key insane but testy is definitely not a low tier character. Good buttons (hate their K buttons), good mix, ability to set up their own plus frames, good conversions, decent oki options, decent movement, and a decent metered reversal.

@@del7644 He is literally the best character in the game. Always s-tier. Even without a blood gauge fully reached to be filled. He is still able to kill or one shot most cast without any need for command grab. Wild assault seriously pushed some strength out of character which never needed in the first place. I prefer him at least use two command grabs in one match.
