@@kofatsu Why that move seems + is weird. I haven't checked the frame data, but if that air strike move is + then that is broken. Way too much distance on that attack to get any + frames imo. The longer range a character has, the less + frames there should be in any fighting game.

Considered one of the worst for Johnny by many players since his movement problem really shows

In my experience and in talking with other Johnny players, the matchup is difficult for Johnny. It’s definitely not unplayable, but at a high level, it’s difficult to have control over neutral when Gio can very effectively dashblock and force whiffs by hovering outside Johnny’s range. Looping guard crush pressure is also very hard to deal with if Johnny has no meter to reversal.
