Tiers aren’t everything, if you look at a tier list you’d probably say Nago beats test, easily, when it’s (at least it was in previous patches maybe WWA makes it easier for Nago) considered test favoured. Also people saying HC is mid tier are downplaying, yeah he ain’t top tier anymore but he hasn’t dropped of that hard come on, he’s still a solid high tier imo.

Yes, Roman cancel is the coolest fighting mechanic but that is a very bad example for any anime fighting games. Drift RC might be safe for someone. But your action is supposed to be more independent than the system carried you. That's glue is glue on action.

As an Elphelt player I always pull my loudest gremlin voice when doing the super command grab like "hehehe what now spiderman I have the high ground and 50% tension" Granted it misses 90% of the time but hey, as George Takei said, you miss 100% of the bomb belts you don't hit.

I wish Elphelt's Command Grab Super wasn't so mid. 😅 I mean, you can combo after it hits, but the damage is so miniscule from it, and if you screw up, you either get hard punished or your opponent can just...block the explosions. Oh well. I'll keep playing my low-tier character with a smile on my face cause she's still fun to play. Lol

Its a way to open up someone and get a combo + corner carry but its so slow that itll miss most times and scales the combo damage to hell. But if you land it you can do command grab supper > F.S > H.S > explosion > dash > C.S > 2H > short rekka series into shotgun.

terrible frame data, very limited kit, has the health of a pixie character, but the speed of bedman?, low damage, her command grab gives worse reward than the regular grab imo, basically no defensive tools, her main gimmick is rps that's not in her favor, if you learn how to beat her rekka you just win 85% of the time tbh did I mention she has a limited kit? she has like 2 major combo routes that both have variants with minor changes even with 50% meter and a wallbreak, her combos barely go over 200 in a game where slayer gets combos that deal 300 at minimum in like 5 hits there are three things that make a top tier in this game: defensive options, good frame data/conversions, and high damage elphelt only has a metered reversal which has a terrible hitbox that doesn't hit really anything in the air, plus she has really low health her frame data is terrible, look at the recovery on 5H, look at 6H, look at j.H, really all of her heavy slashes have terrible startup or recovery for what they offer and like I said, her damage is on the lower end it's pretty obvious why she's low tier

@@moley249 so real on the “rps thats not in her favor” part 😔 Going for rekka after 5H for example, (without meter) best case scenario they block it and you get a 2 hit combo with mediocre at best oki and very low damage, worst case scenario they backdash the rekka and backthrow you, now youre in the corner with hard KD, And to make it worse, may having a 16F backdash she can actually backdash C.S before you have time to do anything, and its counterhit so you js die. But its character specific on what characters can do what, most of them can throw tho

I can only agree with all the points you explained but I still find that although she is not among the best, I do not find it fair to put her in the same tier as Testament for example . Definitely not a top tier, but I still can't believe peoples put her so low. Just sharing my opinion

Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. Nothing has changed for 3 years now. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay. don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear. I just can’t believe that after a masterly xx or even xrd, they released this shame. It’s not surprising that this dirty game has gathered the worst and most prejudiced community around it.
