Yeah, but for what? This game sucks a donkey's asshole while it has rabies. And that describes STRIVE. These jackasses say "Oh, if STRIVE dies, there won't be another Guilty Gear!" but it's like, what the fuck do I care at this point? There already IS no more Guilty Gear. STRIVE is a bland ass, generic anime fighter that does nothing special. All it's unique qualities are gone for this hypocritical piece of ass.

Or what? He'll try to sue? Does he think he somehow owns the replay data? What a ridiculous thing to think one is entitled to.

I mean, I get it, he’s an old school FG player who doesn’t like his matches posted. But also, all these replays are available for anyone to see in the game regardless.

It's not that their play or Johnny got boring. The character Ramrezal is the cause of boredom. Distorted hit boxes, mysterious plus frames and zoning power look boring to everyone.

I feel like people want to pretend like people are making shit up when they mention that you could improvise in Guilty Gear outside of combos. And now, we have STRIVE. The game that laughs at you for trying to improvise.

@@rivendzi Yeah, but even Street Fighter has less limitations than STRIVE. You can't do anything that isn't already expected, if you can, it's just BARELY that it will happen. The game's obnoxious as hell. Instead of trying something new, it just made a bland, generic, run of the mill anime fighter for a bunch of hypocrites. "Oh, you just don't like anything new!" says the same asshats who got a game that does absolutely nothing new for a fighting game that hasn't already been done before dozens of dozens of times. The reality is, they just wanted to take the easy way out for their E-Sports fetish. And it robbed people of seeing a future for something that was unique. And I emphasize WAS.

@@Siberianhusky89 I totally miss the 'wow' factor from the old GGs after watching some cool shit from pro players. Worst part of Strive is that most matches play exactly the same as you can't freestyle anymore. They made loads of money from it, so we probably won't see the game go back to the roots, sadly. There is general trend in dumbing down older game series, it happens not only in fighting games tho.

No one has this opinion 💀 Johnny is really strong, his ONLY problem is his defense, he has very strong oki situations, high low 50/50s that with a card up are SAFE and has large disjointed buttons, cap it off with a super that can whiff punish damn near anything, Johnny is ANYTHING but trash

@@jaedenmarshall9154 Literally every high level player tier list I can find online for current patch has johnny either bottom tier or just barely above it.

@@Owlsnerfhe has step dash and he has to work hard, he’s in a similar spot to characters like potemkin and bedman, who, despite having to work harder, are still quite good when effort is put in

It's called Guilty Gear, but just became another generic anime fighter with mechanics that were already braindead in XRD, far more limitations than most fighting games would ever allow in a game that was the exact opposite. I've seen Omito do some insane shit and none of it will ever be in this shithole game made for a bunch of spoiled brats who say they want something "new" when STRIVE is a typical anime fighter that does nothing special.
