I love that Trina was seeking Spencer’s validation on how she spoke about art. It’s usually the other way, with Spencer normally seeking validation from her. She’s even playing with his fingers, which is a norm for him to do to her. I simply love how this trip has made them so free to be themselves with each other.

These actors Taby and Nic are truly amazing, they feed off each other and their chemistry 🔥🔥 I think they can teach some older actors a thing or two cause they are slaying. I love it when Trina talks about her love for art and when Sprina talk about art together. It was really lovely for the writing to utilize the bond they share for art, like they used to. Spencer using art to describe Trina’s character as a person was so romantic. The entire NYC getaway has reinforced how Sprina are soulmates

The opening scene was so hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Spencer prowling after her, backing her towards the bed, and then the kiss❤️‍🔥🔥❤️‍🔥🔥❤️‍🔥🔥❤️‍🔥 I can't wait to see certain people's reaction once they arrive back in Port Charles. Can't say enough about how natural their chemistry is onscreen, and that is in part due to their off screen friendship. It's so sexy. With that said, I feel like Spencer's heartfelt words to her carried over into real life, because of how Tabyana carries herself. She's such a beautiful, classy, and elegant woman with an infectious spirit.💯

I love how a through line of their relationship has always been art. Even today, this entire conversation felt like a metaphor for their relationship. Trina talking about viewing art from a different perspective after learning more about the history felt like a direct comparison to how her feelings about Spencer evolved over time. We don’t see her judging him in the same way over his status bc she knows him in a deeper way. And Spencer using Trina’s love of art to talk about her. Praising her capacity to find the good beneath the surface. Pointing out her ability to focus on “Intent, passion and humanity” of the work…This conversation was so deep without being very direct until then end when he tells her she completes parts of him he never knew he needed….great dialogue by the ficore writers today 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

When Trina was explaining the experience of the tour she got you could see how Spencer was watching her so intensely ; like he was really listening to her. He was watching how Trina really enjoys the arts and how fascinating she found everything. They must have left Port Charles on a Saturday or Sunday because the weekend was done in no time and Monday came real quick. Hopefully another adventure will come around for Spencer and Trina or they can go away for another weekend getaway. Even when Spencer was explaining how Trina was explaining the art pieces and what the persectives were from the artist point of view ; if you look at Trina it looked like she was getting emotional when Spencer was talking.

Whoever wrote for them with these NYC scenes need to stay. The other writers are worthless when it comes to romance. The NYC dialogue was miles ahead anything that they've done in the past 2 years. I stopped being invested in the couple after Greenland and although I enjoyed these scenes, I'm still waiting to see what happens after NYC because if they go back to what they were doing before in PC, it would be even worse than what happened after Greenland. How does Spencer goes back to living with Esme after this?
