Poor Trina. Everything hasn't fully engulfed her yet. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Of course I feel bad for Laura, it's too bad the former writers Chris and Dan did everything to strip both her and Portia to the point of character assassination that most feel indifferent. And it shouldn't be that way. Because if you're going to do it, you better have a clear explanation as to what drove this character to make the sort of decisions that they did. Laura was totally against Esme living Wyndemere, because she saw how her presence negatively impacted Nicholas and Spencer's relationship as father and son. Lastly, we know Spencer's alive, and it's a good chance Nicholas has him. I also want to say this still ties into the Parable Of The Prodigal Son and this quote from the bible from Cyrus to Spencer shortly before being released:'Luke 15:24 “For this my son was dead but is alive again. He was lost, but is found” It was foretold that this would affect Spencer sometime in the future, and we have arrived as we saw his fate yesterday. But we know that other dove will make it's way back. Who will find the dove? Will Trina return to Paris? Will she take Cyrus up on his offer on that favor should she need anything?💯

@blackbutterfly3364, great Parable of the Prodigal Son (outstanding story) and I think Trina will take Cyrus up on his offer. He will help her because he can't watch Laura hurt over losing Spencer. Spot On with your comment and I wish Trina would stay over in Paris and complete this study and be looking for Spencer. In the Prodigal Son parable, when he found his way, he went home. Spencer and that dove will find their way back to Trina. Thanks for bringing that up, this sermon is preached a lot of many churches.

@marshagreen9759 Ms. Marsha Green, I want Trina to go back to Paris and finish her Art studies because I feel that Spencer will be looking for her there and where the turtle doves connect them. I think Cyrus will visit Trina because he needs her to forgive him for his redemption. Cyrus will try to pay a debt to Trina, and the debt will be Spencer. Good point, Ms. Marsha Green.

@bajangal03 Just my opinions!🤔 Cyrus said that he always looked after Spencer and Ace. Remember, he gave Ace a present at Christmas? Cyrus was tracking Spencer and Trina every move through the two white doves until Spencer fell into the water tracking device and got wet under the water. Spencer's white dove has to dry out on shore, so the tracker can start working again. So, Cyrus was aware of something happening to Spencer because he lost contact with the device. Spencer and Ace were part of the family through Laura, who is Cyrus sister. Family is very important to Cyrus.

What was with Portia trying to get Trina to go home? The woman has lost the love of her life and taking her back to PC and tucking her into bed isn’t going to fix anything. I know Trina is thinking about Spencer now, but I really want her to tear into Portia for how she treated Spencer.

@@amusicfan25a21 Maybe not the details, but she should have listened to him more. The disappointment on his face when he told her that her mom didn’t like who made her happy and she brushed it off. Plus when he came back from helping with the lights broke my heart. She should have asked him what happened. Yet she just brushed it off as her being protective. I want her to know that she was down right cruel.

@tr738 Portia is cruel to Spencer and it's really obvious that it's all because Curtis treats Portia like sloppy seconds and cheated on her with Jordan physically and emotionally and she has no idea that Curtis cheats on her emotionally with Jordan. I want Trina to find out just how cruel Portia was to Spencer and if that wasn't going to be a big deal, I would think that Trina would already know about that but she still doesn't which is telling.

@@amusicfan25a21 I do too. She couldn’t even look at him at the party and telling him that Curtis was the reason he was there. Spencer has more control than I do. I would have told her that she might have wanted me to walk away from Trina, but Trina wants to be with me and if you don’t like it, too bad, bc I’m not going anywhere. So you might as well get use to me being around, bc now Ace is out of the picture, Trina has my undivided attention.

In my opinion nobody in these scenes is showing enough grief. Spencer is presumed dead they should be devastated. But I get that everybody wants to remain positive. It hasn’t really hit yet because it’s only been 24hrs

😢question, is the Spencer/Trina storyline over? I really like their chemistry and the love was sooo amazing. They were the only reason why I watched the soap. If the storyline is over, I’m out. Why not get a temp to replace him.

TRINA ending up pregnant would Definitely Not be a good storyline. If you are so interested in a “baby momma” storyline, why not push for one for the JOSS character? She is half of a “super couple,” too. Pushing for one with TRINA has “Negative Stereotype” written all over it.🙄

Dang how will Trina even survive this. Can the writers show grief from the perspective of black women. (Like right now she is trying to be all tough and composed but we need like an outburst out of nowhere that shows that nothing is okay) idk. This is a Soap opera. The fact that these Karens and naysayers are wanting an Oscar winning performances is pathetic. If given the writing or material I have no doubt Tabyanna could deliver. They have to act out these scenes sometimes with no time to rehearse and on the spot due to writing changes. She did a great job. She was one of three that the powers that be chose to play Trina originally. Avery Pohl who played Esme was one. Sydney Michaela who played Trina originally, but ended up leaving to pursue her education and Tabyanna Ali. The person who is currently playing her. She fit right in. Honestly, some do not want to hear this, but it was Tabyanna and NAC who brought #Sprina to Super couple status.

I hate to say it, but those scenes were not played out by the best actors in the cast. LAURA and DANTE were pretty much on point, as the professional but compassionate police officer, and the level-headed, in- shock, grandmother and Mayor (even tho she hasn’t been so level-headed lately). However, the JORDAN Family is not portrayed by the best actors. At least when it comes to “Soap Opera High Drama.” (TRINA calling CURTIS “Dad” just rang hollow to me.) Actors like MAURA WEST, LAURA WRIGHT, ANDREW REAL, CYNTHIA WATROS, etc. knock those dramatic scenes out of the park). imo Special shout-out to the late, great, SONIA EDDY (Rip), who always brought it.❤🕊️

Dante was not on point. Yes, he is an officer and needs to stay focused, but his delivery screamed typical day and not one of someone who just lost their cousin/nephew. He could have showed a more delicate and empathetic side(you don't need to be crying to do that) instead of business as usual.

I think she can act but the raw emotional stuff like crying is a weak point for her she is coming from a comedy background so it’s understandable but I’m hoping that with her upcoming scenes being her grieving and depressed over Spencer she gets more practice in and gets better
