I’d really rather they use a doll. Having a gigantic baby makes all the scenes comedic. It takes me right out of the story.

For everyone complaining about the babies being too big. Apparently GH doesn’t want children younger than 6 months on the show as part of their COVID protocol.

Actually, Heather and Ryan are Esme's parents (Heather said so herself when she visits Esme in the hospital). Although, now that Ryan is dead (and hopefully Heather will be out of her life soon) Esme can focus on becoming a better mother for Ace's sake.
