Too soon. Apparently LnL needed to be separated for at least 3 years. Actually didn't mind L&L not reuniting right away as Laura had just ditched Stefan so Luke might think she was just rebounding. However, do wish we could've seen Laura try to steal a real kiss during this trip, you know, like she did back in the 80s when she was trying to get Luke back then. Could've been so good. Instead all we got was a peck here and there. Dumb, but I guess anything more would've confused poor Luke lol

But Stefan didn't originally kidnap him. He took Lucky from Helena and was planning returning him to Laura

Laura also loved her rapist and the man who tried to kill her son. The writing became so inconsistent it was hard to take anything seriously at this point.

Jonathan Jackson was so extraordinary, no one could ever fill those shoes. I can't imagine being Jacob Young having to walk into that role, knowing who created it before him.

Jacob did a great job taking over the role. Alot of people tend to forget, he won a Daytime Emmy for his performance as the character in 2002. The only reason he left the role in 2003 was over a contract dispute. I loved JJ in the role as well, but Jacob is very underappreciated for his time there.

@@tragicprincess8414 He did. He also did win over the fanbase within months of debuting. You have to remember, the writing was not the best at that time. Jacob got alot of critical acclaim for his presentation of the role. Again, I am a fan of JJ as well, I am just saying, Jacob did well during his 3 years on the show, and winning the Daytime Emmy in 2002 was the icing on the cake for his version of Lucky.

@@bethstreich6565 Some folks are Luke and Tracey fans. I never have been, but I do think that Jane Elliott is a great actress. I never saw the chemistry. I felt it was forced in order to get us further away from Luke and Laura. But, I agree both actors are awesome, and it is obvious there are a ton of folks who agree with you about their pairing.

The way they look at each other after he says it, there's that momentary recognition of the way they were. Yeah, it hits you deeply.

@@eddiecater1429 I have the basic storyline written - but no serious dialogue written. Dialogue vexes me a bit, but if I had to write it out for a screenplay, I could do it. But, overall, the action, characters, locations, etc. have been written out.

@@betsykeller9096 I have all my ideas in my head, but nothing on paper. I have trouble with the ending, because TG actually wanted Luke to be killed off. In the original Luke & Laura storyline, Luke was supposed to be killed. So my storyline has a brief reunion since TG wants Luke to be killed off.

@@betsykeller9096 If TG comes back knowing how he feels about LnL, I think a brief reunion will be the only thing he's willing to accept.

This made me stop watching. I hate when great characters are ruined and I loved Stefan. Probably wrong on this but I blame Geary.

@@sallymiller1359 The Laura and Stefan potential was endless. I would have married them, toned Stefan down making his love sincere, killed off Helena and created conflict between Stefan and Nicholas. Was obvious Nicholas wasn't a brilliant leader and could imagine Stefan increasingly frustrated handing the Cassadine reigns over.

Alexis used to be my favorite character as a Cassadine too. When they made her a mob moll it ruined her. Made her ditzy and she lost all of her mysteriousness somehow. Just made her pathetic.

I mean you can pretty much say that about most soap storylines lol .... Surely Endgame/Stavros resurrection was more ludicrous than anything here.

Awful. I can only blame Geary for this and for nixing Stefan as Nicholas' father to distance his golden goose and secure his ongoing millions.

I know you are a Laura and Stefan fan, but I could see why she couldn't forgive Stefan. Remember, he had held Lesley and the truth about what he did to her never came out because he blackmailed Laura. Now, here she is again with another loved one being held out as dead, and Stefan knowing for a while again that this loved one was alive. With Lesley, Luke found out when Laura found out and with Lucky Luke told Laura as soon as he knew for sure - Stefan, not so much....

He kept her alive even though Helena wanted him to kill her & he was afraid of losing her but he wanted to tell her the truth about Lucky. Besides that, she forgave both Luke & Scotty for some pretty terrible things a lot more then once.

I agree with your assessment of that. I think there is an episode somewhere, though, where he may have known Luke was alive before she found out. I guess the bottom line is, all of the men in her life have lied. Soaps, drama, and all we want is a good romance! Let's see what Kevin brings to the table as time goes on.

Saying Jacob is a "horrible" actor is kind of off base. He has had a great career in Daytime. He stepped into an impossible situation at the time, and within months, had won the fanbase of GH over. The writing at the time was pretty bad. He was awesome as JR Chandler on AMC and of course, as Rick on the Bold and The Beautiful.

Well me & you differ, because Imo Luke should of rung Stefan's neck a long time ago.

Even more than that when Stefan had Lucky with him, Stefan could of called Laura & let Lucky talk to her. Very simple move.

Stefan's heart in the right place but his actions were neurotic and wrong. I don't believe Stefan was able to process events appropriately.
