I stopped watching GH when Steve Burton left. When I heard he was returning I started watching GH again. Happy Steve is back because there’s no one, I MEAN NO ONE, that can portray Jason Morgan than the original … Steve Burton!

Wonderful interview. Thank you! I was excited when I first heard SB was returning to GH. I look forward to seeing the impact waves Patient 6's return will have on the GH characters so intimately tied to Jason's history. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the writers will put in at least a brief scene of P6 meeting up with Spinelli. Burton and the remarkable Bradford Anderson always had the best interactions on screen as Jason and Spinelli.

Steve, I'd like to apologize to you. I akways passed by soaps and ignored them. Then one day I was walking through the living room where my mom was watching Y&R. I ignored it cuz they weren't my thing....so I thought. Then I heard your voice and I stopped and turned and mentally I was confused. I heard it again and saw you and my only reaction was, "what the...CLOUD?!" Lol. I've been watching soaps ever since. :)

Why is there any doubt that Steve Burton is going to be anybody but Jason Morgan? It make take some time for things to correct themselves between Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam since she has been with Billy Miller's character for two years but that whole relationship was based on the assumption that he was the same man that she's loved for over a decade. Also, Steve and Kelly's chemistry is why JaSam became one of the most popular couples of daytime TV. Using Steve Burton in any other capacity would be just plain stupid on the part of execs.

very strategic move on steve's part......when his prior gh contract expired 5yrs ago...he pretended to negotiate ...knowing full well he was gone play both soaps against one another the soap he left for on cbs made him a very attractive offer to jump ship n he knew when ever he was ready to return they would accomodate him and make it financially worth his time to return....for whatever the reason they love the sonny corinthos,jason morgan.nicholas cassadine characters and the current actors in the respective roles.....at least they did not do to jason replacment what they did with lucky spencer replacement....jonathan jackson left,he was replacement Greg vaughn, who was in the role for 6yrs n then jonathan jackson decided to return...they dumped greag vaughn to accomodate jj's return, he stayed less than a year...booked nashville n left again...tyler chrisopher leaves n then when his bank account drops he returns n they always take him back...Julian jerome is back and his storyline will pick up sometime next week....G
