Using the automatic Focus Pull feature found in the Panasonic GH5 and GH5s cameras (and other panasonic cams). Here i’m using the Cinevate Duzi Slider and the lens is a cheap Panasonic 25mm F/1.7.

Can someone with Panasonic contacts pass on the need for this feature to be accessible through the Image App, it would be so useful!

I have the GH5 and GH5s. I think I'm gonna have to try this feature. Thats pretty smooth. Nice job as usual.

Hello! Love your videos! I have a question for you that is completely off topic from this video. I have been watching your old videos about setting up the Alexmos Basecam gimbal and they have been extremely helpful in setting up my gimbal! I have one problem though and I'm hoping you can help me out! I have the DYS 3 axis and seem to have it in pretty good working order, but when i bump into it, or move it manually it seems to skip magentically and not come back to it's center position. It's like if it's moving to the next pole and then just staying in that position. This happens with all of the Axis and I can't seem to figure out what i'm doing wrong. I hope i'm making sense of this and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

As long as the focus pull isn't drastic I don't see focus breathing to really be much of an issue, although I would prefer my lens to have zero focus breathing.

Does this work only in 1080p (crippled like on the G7) or does this feature work irrespective of the fps/resolution/10bit vs 8bit etc. ON the G7 its limited to only 1080p and is called snap movie mode...cheesy title for a cheesy feature.

Great tutorial. Is this function available in eg. camera's like the G7, 80/85, 9 or GX 80/85? or is this a function an compelling argument to choose the GH5 (GH4?)? Love to hear, thank you!

I don't know exactly which models, but some other Panasonic cameras have this feature (not just GH5 / GH5s). Though I'm pretty sure it has to be a camera much newer than a GH4 that offers this neat little feature.
