Both "Ghajini"-s are great...The one of Suriya had better actions, fightings and portrayal of Sanjay Ramaswamy as a business magnate...Aamir nailed Sanjay Singhania as an aggressive psycho, who is hungry to seek revenge...The Hindi version has the musical magic by A.R. Rahman and a heartmelting climax...

I think the Bollywood part that shows Sanjay was more relatable as an audience, in real life people are not some action hero who can fight evil, the vulnerability and the helplessness adds to the entire plot, the emotional connection that people feel is through how realistic the situation would be for anyone seeing their loved ones being killed in front of their eyes and not being able to do anything about it.

Ye faltu ka drag karne se hi movie ka naam kharab hota hai.. See in foreign movies they never do this drama to a master piece. Ghajini ki story utni hi thi, utne pe khatam hone se hi uska etna impact hai. Such stories force ppl to think a lot, thats the impact which is what we like. Drag kardoge khatam hojayega sab logic

The only reason why Bollywood's remake were more successful than South's original movie is the cinematography and execution. Noways, South filmmakers have corrected their mistake and have great directors and cinematographers who executes very well. That's why remakes aren't as successful as before. And for all those Sherlock's who'll try to act smart, I know both Aamir's and Surya's versions were inspired by Momento.
