This Manassa is driving a change among Ghanaian/African diaspora children to learn their mother tongue. Even my daughter is learning to speak Twi. Wow what an angel.

Those parents live in Ghana but their children don't know how to speak their native language but rather English, while they're living in Ghana. very sad

I don't understand oo. I grew up speaking Twi at home. But I still speak good English. I am not the exception. I know many people who speak excellent English although they grew up speaking a native language. I blame this generation of parents who have helped their children to loose their identity

My dear say that again. That's so annoying. I'm in Texas, have 3 kids in the USA, I'm trying everything to teach them "Twi" whereas my sister who lives in Ghana, had her kids in Ghana don't speak Twi it always annoys me and when you tell her to stop encouraging them she gets mad.

I wish my kids can try like Manassa . But my kids in US are not making the effort and it can be stressful on the parents. Manassa you are an inspiration to alot of Ghanaians abroad.

Don’t give up….be patient and teach them in love. Give them good reason to learn it. Let them know it will do them a lot more good than it will benefit you, and make it fun for them as well 😇
