1:14:28 I agree with what he’s saying about lyricism, I think things like metaphors and double entendres are supposed to be seamless. A lot of rappers try to make complicated bars that stand out but they don’t fit in with the overall verses/stanzas.

Lil Wayne’s impact on music culture is far greater than Ghetts both en masse and when you scale it down to proportion to the size of their respective scenes and genres. With that said, Ghetts is way more lucid and rational as a person than Lil Wayne-Lil Wayne is erratic. It’s not a reasonable comparison.
