FYI the dosing line in the video is 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD x 1/16".

Dude I’m loving the way you’re building this system. So so nice 👍 🔥🔥🔥. For the dosing tanks. I guess you don’t have much options but to put them on the side of the stand. But I’m sure what ever you decide it look awesome.

Fishy Snowman - Thx Fishy! I’m gonna do glass “VOSS” 500ml bottles for Trace (on LT side) and 800ml for ALK, CAL, MAG, and NaNO3 (on RT side) initially until my tank outgrows them.

You can use vasso glass bottles. In front. The rest super clean.

Nice gear. That tubing is a pro tip for sure. What all are you planning on dosing that you need 8 pumps? 🤔

Aw0k3n - The main 3 of course. Alk, Cal, and Mag. Then...my systems usually run too clean so I dose NaNO3 and sometimes PO4 if needed, but I usually just feed more. I’ll also be dosing Acropower, Iodine, Strontium, Phyto, Boron, etc.

followed that link for the tycoon XL-60 tubing, what was the exact size you bought? Thanks in advance

Mark Garcia - 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD x 1/16" Or you can go 1/16” ID- I’ve used that size previously. I did 1/8” because it doesn’t clog as much and the end of the tube will push over the quick connect and never pop off. Just make sure you get 1/4” OD so it will fit your dosing bulkheads on your sump of you have them installed like you see on mine.

So one thing I’ve learned about silicone tubing is to look for “smooth bore on the inside.” Otherwise the tubing will catch every bubble. Bubbles come in where the tubing connects so if you seal those connections air tight with super glue or silicone, there won’t be any bubbles. I suggest to look at US Plastics and read about every tubing type. There are a few that are specifically made for dosing with smooth bore inside.

@@Reefahholic thanks for answer me, so I’ll have to putt super glue to the nipple side right? I got mine today and I tried to connect it to my Phone WiFi did u have any issue doing that? I can’t connect it to my already save one 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll have to do it first with my pc?
