EXACTLY. That makes all the difference. He would have never called Drew. He only got Drew's help to a) get him away from his brother & b) not look suspicious to anyone in Noma's organization. The only reason that didn't work is because his brother mentioned the help with the green cards.

When Zion said Ghost solves a problem before it ever becomes a problem to Riq that’s a clue Ghost is living. And Davis and Tameika Washington have connections to Ghost… Why would Tameika introduce Riq to Davis? Don’t you find it funny?? I think Ghost helped Riq and Tasha unknowingly or knowingly by keeping Cooper Saxe alive when Tommy was about to shoot him. Every step of the way from Season One it was always the inside investigators helping the hustlers secretly in some way… Sandoval helping Lobos, Angela helping Ghost, Officer Ramirez helping the Tejadas, Mecca helping Cane and Noma as her husband, Lorenzo Sr. Had the prison guards under his influence… Tate had FBI type of cops and his Brother under control, Saxe was working with Dre, Detective Rodriguez got Dre out of prison and Saxe and Davis used their powers to free 2-Bit… Tommy had help from Proctor setting up a Homeland Security Agent… The people out for Justice were helping Ghost and Tommy the whole time.. not to mention Kanan Dad was a dirty cop saving him from prison too.

Then Tameika told Riq Tasha will need a better attorney someone who can win without telling the truth and Riq asked Tameika who can do that and the scene went immediately to Davis performing in Trial!!! Tameika introduced Riq to Davis!! That’s how Riq found Davis!!

We never seen the body of ghost. Plus Omari been dropping hints since he left the show. I think the contract thing was always smoke and mirrors i think he just wanted to take a break the show and pursue other opportunities while everyone else told there stories.
