@@ana419 not all chemicals are bad. Google 'chemicals' and read the definition. Theres a huge difference between toxic substances (your idea of chemicals) and organic nutrients used in hydroponics.

Ive finally divised my own plan for indoor hydroponics. I have a sunroom here with lots of sun exposure. The plan is to use food grade plastic tubs that are stackable. Theyll be hung from hanging pot planters in stacks above the floor so the cats dont mess with them. Aquarium pump from a 1 gallon re-collection bucket underneath will have a constant pumping of fertilizer water drip through the roots, via a series of mesh filters in small circular holes made in the bottoms of the tubs above. I'll be painting the tubs so theyll be opaque. With any luck, this setup will imitate the expensive vertical towers! Hell yeah for hydroponics!

This is great for small yards, someone like me whose becoming more disabled but still as motivated as a marine(so will just hurt themselves carrying on the traditional way). I've seen mushroom towers. I've seen aeroponics that were lateral but this is fabulous for small space yards you're in South Carolina as am I I would love to learn more about this exact thing I don't want to ape you but I would like to diversify on this concept I don't necessarily want to make money on this but I would like to make my grocery bill shrink I'm on disability

This is a great idea! I can put a grow tower in lots of nooks and tighter places on my patio. This way to grow seems so much easier to tend to than even a raised bed! I am definitely going to research this!

After using our towers for 10 years outdoors, they were tested for chemical leaching to the nanoparticle and we passed the test! Zero chemical leaching! Our proprietary plastic resins are in a category of their own. There is no PVC or polyethylene used in these towers.

Si analizas los nutrientes de una lechuga en hidroponia verás que tiene 10 veces menos nutrientes y minerales que una lechuga plantada en suelo madre. Conclusiones. Una persona tiene que comer mucho mas cantidad para conseguir la misma cantidad de nutrientes que en una lechuga plantada suelo madre. Es una de las razones por las que hay tanta obesidad porque la comida esta desmineralizada. Porque beneficia a la industria farmaceutica. Como bien deben saber ambas industrias van de la mano. You can set up these aeroponic towers in any climate except if it's below freezing or above 40 Celsius. In those cases, we would need to grow either indoors or in a climate-controlled greenhouse.

The rain does not enter into the tower, and if it does, it's a very minimal amount that does not affect the nutrients. The PH is regulated initially by using reverse osmosis water and then we mix the nutrient solution with water which creates the perfect PH.

The tower structure features a hollow interior where water is combined with nutrients in the bottom reservoir. A low wattage submersible pump is positioned at the bottom of the reservoir to draw the nutrient solution up to the top of the tower. At the top, a special device allows the nutrient solution to trickle down, providing a gentle massage to the roots suspended in the air. The roots absorb the nutrient-rich solution as it flows back down to the reservoir.

We do not use temperature regulators since the water is irrigating the plants intermittently. This naturally cools off the water and prevents it from ever overheating.

Good question! Considering that the plants are growing vertically upwards off the ground, this drastically reduces the amount of pests that can access the plants. However, if we do have an insect issue, we use organic pest control such as neem oil, pyrethrin, thuricide, and agricultural soap (potassium salts).

Thousands of dollars. His website breaks down the cost of the components. It’s sooo beneficial, but very costly. Only those with access to that kind of funding can do this. It’s not for poor folks.
