Pathetic reasoning. If Greek Gods really get stronger as they age, then Kratos will be *FAR* more powerful than he was in Greece. Thor killed him BY ACCIDENT. WHILE HOLDING BACK. What does that tell you about just how badly Greek era Kratos would get it? 💀

@@DarkoRavens this is subjective, there are many theories. • Kratos is a demigod, hence age affects him and his strength; • Kratos is a full god, he just lost his God of War title; • Greek Gods are invulnerable and stay young while Norse Gods need to keep eating the golden apple to stay young and strong and can die from age. So probably they're just stronger and/or the Norse realm affects Kratos' godlike attributes, turning him more "vulnerable" or weaker (?); I prefer the badass Kratos it makes more sense to me his youth and strength.

@GoalkeeperJeff Zeus looked young once. Not anymore. And he's the top dog of Greek mythology. They rely on Ambrosia to sustain what passes for immortality in their world, like the Norse do with Iðunn. Let's say Kratos is a full god (He never refers to himself as a Demi-God when telling Atreus the truth). He has long since succeeded in destroying the Greek pantheon and would then be far more powerful in the Norse Lands than back in Greece. Even with such incredible power and status, the Norse Gods literally make him work for it: Baldur was invulnerable up to direct contact with mistletoe. Kratos himself said he could not imagine a more fierce ally or foe than Freya. Thor succeeded in unintentionally killing Kratos before bringing him back to life for the sake of the fight. Kratos needed a special spear to have a chance of fighting Heimdall. And there's simply no way in hell he could beat Odin alone, going by how easily Kratos was subdued halfway through.
