The new armor is kinda OP specially in duels. Combine it with two major charms that increase perfect parry window and you aee basically unkillable even in lethal

Or just stick with ghost armour and instantly kill 8 - 10 energy's now we have kunai assassinaion and charm that doubles minor charms so just pop in the detection reduction minors you become invincible/invisible able to literally walk up to enemy's and assassinate them. Chain it up to 5x with kunai assassinaion and you have instant ghost stance for another 4-5 instant kills with no threat what so ever, pop smoke if needed and repeat. + ghost armour doesn't make you look like a conehead from that movie..... coneheads

@@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 Thats one way but sarugami armor basically throws away the need for ghost weapon and assasination. With the right build you can just stand in the middle of a camp, call for the whole army and take care of them all at the same time without using even a single ghost weapon. This armor literally turns jin into a superhero and you dont really have to wear the conehead helmet if you dont like it

@@bigpuppyshoes5033 For my major charm I run the two charms that increase parry window time, forgot the names but the second charm is something you get from the monkey sanctuary and the first one from one of the shrines of tsushima isle. The minor charms dont really matter much anymore with those two major charms combined. I just placed 4 resolve gain minor charms.

I think the kensei armor is the coolest. Transmog would be cool but I Essentially built my loadouts to only using 3 armors for different situations being ghost for stealth, kensei for roaming, missions, and camps, and suragami for duels. (Used to be Gosaku)

The Versatile Skills Charm, definitely a favorite for my Gosaku, Saki and Samurai Clan Armors. The Horse Charge and armor is a nice touch, but the saddlebags you get for liberating Fort Saki is the biggest bonus for Ghost and Archery builds.

Small correction for the video: You get the charm of versatile skills for reaching max legend on iki island, not for completing the duels.

Horse armor is awesome , cause I use to love to see how many troops I could knock off their horse with just using my sword , and it was kinda like jousting , but any archer who shot a arrow , there was no way to deflect or take a hit , so now I can stay on my horse longer and do charging jousting matches with npc opponents , lol just a cool thing I liked doing from time to time , I mean mounted Calvary was typically used against infantry soldiers on foot ! And was heavily applied to battlefield tactics in real life warfare !

The charm build I’ve made for the Sarugami Armor boosts Perfect Parry/Dodge windows while increasing Resolve gains to play to the armor’s perks. Reject Ghost, return to monke.

@@Justin-hd2vzmashira's protection, i have it, that's the one that increases the perfect parry and perfect dodge and i also have the charm of mizu-no-kami which makes it easier to preform parries, perfect parries and perfect dodge. If you are a sarugami user i heavily encourage you to get these charms, with the right skill you'll be basically untouchable.

if you’re the guy that wants to press an army alone, this is the armor for you, if you like being stealthy and maybe terrifying people, use the ghost armor, although if you like a little bit of both i’d say the Ronin armor is the way to go, kensei armor can be veryyy fun and strong once you have the right charms

I hope the Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge perks become a skill by itself in the sequel. It’s very useful and fun but relegating it to just one set of armor seems weird to me. It’d look cool with Jin doing these moves in his Ronin and Ghost attires!

You can do it in any armour, you just aren't practiced enough to achieve it regularly if that's the case. I have killed innumerable enemies with perfect parrying in the Ghost attire and Ronin attire. There is a perk specifically for giving a 1/5 chance to cause terror on a perfect parry kill. Combine this with the 40% increase to terror enemies with a skill that causes terror on the Ghost armour and you have a 28% chance of causing terror in the Ghost armour with a perfect parry kill. If you have a PS5 the increased frame rate makes killing with the perfect parry easier. I have beat the game 3 times. Perfect parrys are an essential skill and can be done in any armour.

With my playing style I Loved the Kensie armor.. Mainly ghost weapons up by 30% and when hit they drop % of their hits and take 50% more damage (those that were hit with the ghost weapon)

How does that work exactly... It says only if it’s the only one of a certain category. Does that mean you can’t have 2 melee charms at all? or just that you can’t have 2 of the same exact charm like 2 bludgeoning or 2 precision or whatever else. Or do you have to only have like one melee one defense one bow one utility or whatever for it to even work.

Do all archer lantern challenges immediately. You can increase the focus function by 2.5 seconds. Iki expansion makes the archer ridiculous

So I cleared the entire tournament, 4 opponents down and new dye merchant unlocked. But I never got the Charm of Versatile Skill. A big shame since it s really the one that attracts me the most... Could it be that you played early access and they moved this charm to somewhere else? Anyone else who couldn t get this charm from the wooden swords tournament maybe ? Edit: correction for the video -> You only get this beautiful Charm I was talking about WHEN you reach legend level 3 on Iki Island. Not before. Hf

Honestly, after finishing the game on lethal+ without any defense charms AND the charm of frailty (one hit death), I was so hoping this armour would be the final difficulty bump. Like I would’ve LOVED if the armour didn’t make perfect parries and dodges easier to do.

What armor did you use? I’ve used the ronin armor pretty much much whole first play through on lethal and ur makes duels a breeze

I've completed the Iki island, but I don't have enough silk to upgrade sarugami and hero of tsushima armors. How to get more silk? To upgrade the new armors to the max upgrade I'm going to need a lot of silk

@@jackadams8036 It seems they force us to play NG+ to complete all armors upgrade, I forgot if I've finished the NG+ or not. Have you upgraded all new armors in iki Island expnsion?

I just wish we’d have gotten a better looking sarugami helmet. It’s supposed to be samurai armor but the helmet just looks too silly. Was hoping for something similar to the samurai clan helmet but the general shape of the sakai clan helmet.
