My tip is to wear travelers armor always, except for duels, which your can change armor even when in combat. Just will make you a better swordsman

Also, when in a standoff - look at your enemies' feet I'm not joking - when they're trying to trick you, they will move their upper body, holding their legs still. When they actually strike, they'll move their legs before anything else

No consequence for stealth makes sense from a story perspective. I just started but a theme the protagonist is grappling with is breaking his code and the psychology that was instilled in him since he was a child. Jin breaking from tradition and using guerilla tactics is teaching him how to adapt and survive when fighting an enemy with no perception or commitment to honor. By any means. Man, this game rules!

I want to add to Tip 17; go to options, then game play. Enable armor loadouts. Don't just dress for the occasion, have the right charms as well 😉.

One thing I kinda wish they had is a honner system to get that full samurai feeling cuz most of the time I avoid stealth cuz it more fun to feel like a badass taking on twelve guys at once pause

Great video, thanks! My tip would be for the player who doesn’t want to spend 60+ hours (initially) playing the game. You can beat the game by only playing Jin’s journey missions. If you have the DLC avoid traveling to Iki island when asked; that mistake must have cost me 4 game hours I did not want to spend off from the main missions just to get to a point I could travel back to Tsushima. So the main story can be less than 20 hrs if you decide to only play Jin’s journey. That said once I finished the game, I was hooked at this point and I have been throughly enjoying taking over Mongol territory and finding the cute Fox and following him to hidden shrines and exploring EVERYWHERE. It’s a super fun game and can be played through however you like and to me that’s what makes this game special!

I reached a bit further in my Tsushima journey before watching, but definitely recommend this video for anyone new watching. Would recommend all points that the video mentioned

Got platinum on this, already play NG+ and beat the game twice..and now I know like literately after this video....the flute can change the weather XD. Btw, Iki Island has the best gear and skill in the game.

My tip is to get travellers attire early, wear it, upgrade it to full. It looks insanely cool, and not having combat perks from the armour will make you better at the game. It will also teach you how to use charms effectively. Get inari charm and amaterasu charm right after prolouge. They are relatively close and they help a lot, especially inari which will help you get resources for upgrading much faster.

Just bought this game yesterday now that it's available on PC. Going to jump into it later as I'm on holiday for another 9 days, I foresee a few late nights/early mornings. Thanks for the very informative Video :)

just got this game cuz i never had a ps4/ps5 but it came on pc so i FINALLY get to play it. when you ride ur horse for the first time and it shows “ghost of tsushima” on the right it kinda throws a lot of tutorials at u rly quickly so its kinda confusing. this video helped a lot, thanks!

Haha, I picked the game up for PC couple Days ago. I love it. Really. It's amazing and so good it makes me keep track of the Story. Listen, watch, read, all of that, and I am normally not a Story-Enthusiast lol. Haven't had so much fun in a Singleplayer game in probably 2-3 years. I have been doing Side-Quests only for the first couple ( a lot ) hours. Continued, or rather, actually started the Main Quest yesterday haha. I just couldn't stop clearing those things, hunt for every "?" i came across, leveling skills, resolve, health and all the other stuff, becoming stronger and stronger. Stronger than one should be for the first actual Main Quest. xD But I love it. But this approach means that it took me a long while to find a Swordsmith. Been fighting with base level Swords lol. Instantly felt the power-up after upgrading it. Also got the Bow a lot later than you could, a looooot later, which changes the way you can play the game. Love the bow. Enabled better strategies, long range "sniping" is super satisfying , taking down enemy Bowmen on the ground or on the annoying towers a lot easier haha.

The stealth in this game is so powerful and easy that its almost boring. I never really care about strength, if I am detected, they are dead anyways. The combat feels fluid, challenging and the most fun I had in a while. Feels somewhat in middle between AC games and elden ring in higher difficulties. You can die very quickly even if youre fully upgraded.

Oh and honorable combat is the most satisfying! . . . I play on lethal and I only ever use ghost weapons if im about to die lol The Ghost is OP mid to late game. Wonder how Ghost 2 will go? Maybe play as a student on mainland Japan? 😊❤

I'd say do the main missions until you get the hook, then go nuts

I rarely finish any games, mostly get bored real quick and drop em but GoT is ... different. Already on my second playthrough, haven't tried ng+ just because i wanted to see the whole intro again lol but yeah... fuck this game is good. There are a few things that i wish mods will help with but jeez i can't get enough of it. Here is my list for anyone starting the game now that it's on pc, mainly focusing Immersion. (on top of the tips in this video) 1. Don't teleport and don't rush it. you'll miss a lot and you'll end up rushing things for no reason, this open world is a true gem and you should explore every nook and crany of it. 2. While traveling for a mission do the "time sensitive" side quest that you'll find along the way (help my familly needs to be saved type mission) instead of going back to them once you finished the game, it makes it more immersive. 3. Roleplay as much as possible. For example don't switch gear before a fight, in the middle of nowhere etc, but prepare before hand and base your choice around YOUR playstyle. It makes your choices more impactful and more immersive. I STRONGLY advise anyone to NOT rush this game, it's a masterpiece that need to be savoured from start to finish. Like i said earlier there are thing that could have been better but no game is perfect, nothing is.
