Breakpoint - The Complete Story
In 2016, Jace Skell completed the construction of the new Skell Technology Headquarters on Auroa, an island in the South Pacific Ocean.
By 2024, Auroa was home to more than 30,000 residents, and Internal security had become a requirement, so a Private Military Company named Sentinel was hired.
Then in 2025, Auroa mysteriously went quiet.

Bro NGN has the smoothest intros. It's so satisfying watching the transition from intro to title card. And the sound syncing is always so good too. It's exactly how good I'd like my editing to get one day

While I am generally enjoying the game, I found the Wildlands story so much richer and compelling; Breakpoint is too much a stretch - the whole terminator thing was not even imaginative.

My biggest complaint for this story is that to conduct an insurgency and overthrow a narcostate, they sent 4 Ghosts. To investigate an island cutting communications, they sent 32.

There is a radio transimision in wildlands, about a potential bioweapon terrorist attack in USA. I think that and Amber Sky are references that The Division happens way futher in the future

Mitchell, hands down. The dude survived a EMP blast from a misile he himself guided to his position where a nuclear warhead belonging to Mexican rebels was located in GRAW2. Something, everyone believed he could not survive. Hell, even Nomad himself looks up to him.

Thanks for this. Interesting coincidence as I started playing GR:Breakpoint and spent time understanding everything, how it works etc. I’m enjoying it but really, partially doing missions and partially unlocking the whole map. I do have all the drone crap turned off, I wish I 100% off though.

I put hundreds of hours into Breakpoint. Had started again a few months back and couldn’t get in so I checked out Wildlands. Really enjoyed it but wanted to spend some more time on Auroa. Am really enjoying it again. Turned off the other ghosts and I’m trying the whole thing solo, Sam Fisher style. Was used to railroading everyone with my death squad. I’m literally on the run most of the time. Haha.

I love the idea this is a what if the Punisher went full Big Boss and started a PMC. I admit I WISH they did at least a what if scenario of taking Walker's side and seeing how to turn the base into a Ubi version of Outer Heaven.

Fair, I didn't explain that. It's clear has been ways to leave the island, but Nomad and team chose to stay behind to help. Others have left to get movement from the government (like Sam Fisher), but so far this hasn't helped

I think because Nomad is constantly cought up with jobs on the island and agencies that infiltrated the island prior and after the lockdown, keep contacting him to fix their problems whom they messed up. Also widlands happens across 3 different deployments, Something tells me that op motherland would be like a second deployment or something. And they use Nomad because he is familiarized with the land.

The stories are labeled by Episodes. Same for side missions. Faction missions are a completly different story. And the Events, except the terminator and titan ones which are not canon, happen on a completly different arc

It was an event and now is an ingame parameter and yes it messes up everything cause they randomly appear whenever you enjoy the game the most, especially during sensitive missions in such way that you get stuck with your progression. It cannot even be called difficult. Its just tedious and poor design leading you to alot of frustration. That event just didnt made sense

I can, the guy is a massive hypocrite that apparently hates the United States government for how it treated their soldiers then turns around and kills dozens of them (directly executing a personal friend in the process), Allies his group to an insane technophile cult, and is basically trying to start a Third World War. I hate how the outcasts want to make auroa it’s own country. It’s so stupid. The outcasts are terribly written, and besides auroa is technically US government owned territory or leased by the British, it’s already owned by either the US or the Uk so it makes No sense how bowman and the cia would help make it its own sovereign nation

The MMO style leveling and gameplay limitations and the most boring enemy ever made for video games ROBOTS. Ghost recon Wildlands had such a good start and the most interesting world building all to waste. Hopefully modders get the tools they need to remaster Wildlands as its the only hope for this cool franchise

And all ruined by the console invented 3rd person pov. I mean who the hell plays flight sims, mil sims, tank sims and car sims in 3rd freaking person. And talking real sims like ARMA, DCS, Flight sim 2020, Steel Beasts Pro and F1 2021 etc. Lastly I don't ever recall playing a VR game in 3rd person on my Index or Vive... VR will one day kill 3rd person for good like how Digital killed Analog.
