The voice acting is so over the top but that was pretty much the case for any classic arcade shooter!

This game was so good on the Wii. Plenty of things to unlock and so many paths to take. Any weapon with more than the basic penetration made the game a cake walk on repeated playthroughs

Oh hell I miss this game on the Arcade soo much. It used cards in the arcade version (not the game mode, I’m talking about the arcade machine) and I was pretty high leveled. My main weapon was the SAW, it was great using a full auto weapon instead of having a semi-auto like the XM. I even remembered getting a good amount of good + quick shots in a single run. There’s also that 2 body 1 head thing but I’m not into getting those.

There was an arcade at a Holiday Club where I used to go all the time... Star Wars Arcade, SEGA Rally, Crisis Zone... you name it. The two most visited spots were Ghost Squad and Time Crisis 4. I was on top of both of those high scores (but never the actual #1 come to think of it.) The reception actually sold cards that could be used to record your progress for future runs but I never purchased one. I assume that is how one would have unlocked extra levels and gear that way (other arcades I've seen have the option to change Mission level.) Anyway, if I a friend or relative came to visit us I would always take them to the arcade. I truly miss those days. I also got Ghost Squad for the Wii (after haggling with GameStop) but I never got the same amount of kicks out of it. PS. The knife fight is a real b*tch... unless you already know where the stabs will be there is no way one is able to clear it.

I remember when i was 7 years old, in a mall with my parents. I see an arcade game "Ghost Squad" i was very exciting trying playing shooting game with my father, my mom allowed me to play with my father and we play together. To be honest it was very heavy, and i couldn't believe i can carry it, i always died maybe because im smaller and my father win the game. It was a great day😢

Good times. Now I think about it, this is the most early arcade that has drop system. Also, waaaaay better than modern fps.

They need to remake this game soon. I used to play this game too at the arcade and the guncons are so heavy, I had to switch to my left armpit after carrying it on the right as single player while my dad watched me play from behind. Damn.... speaking of this game, I noticed that the character for the 2nd player was the only red headed character among the Ghost Squad troops as most of them are black haired and brown haired (Wilco the character for 1st player even had black hair too). This is out of context but it got me curious all this time when I noticed it in my childhood 🤔

hey, im really trying to get ghost squad running at 60fps like you have in your video except the Gecko code doesnt seem to work for me. The game still runs at 30fps and the camera is messed up during certain scenes. Do you know of any other codes or work arounds for 60fps?

Omg didn't know the name of this game until now. I used to play this game so much on the arcades back in the day. Didn't know they released a home console version of this game and would have never knew since i didn't know it by name. I have even seen the cover of the wii version of this game but i still wouldn't have know it was this game. 🤣
