In this action packed western adventure The Three Mesquiteers are out to find stolen gold. Of course as the title suggests the gold is hidden somewhere in an Old West Ghost Town. There is also a bit of romance when the boys meet Sabina Thornton. Yakima Canutt the great stuntman is in this feature so you know there will be some daring deeds. Bob I loved what happens to the corrupt bankers at the end ! Yes Westerns are timeless!! Really enjoyed this one. Great Western clothes and gear too!!

Yakima Canutt directed some of the best fight sequences in the westerns of the 60's and 70s.

Yakima Canutt was credited with inventing the evil `Running W`- a device to bring down a horse at full gallop. The stunt rider knew but the horse didn`t. At 47:18 you can see the result of this evil device that maimed & killed so many horses.

Hi...my two favorite Western actors are Phil Layshio and Connie Lingus....Mike Hunt was good too....I didn’t like Marion Morrison, he was a bad actor and I heard that he was a closet homosexual....
