This was hilarious. Not the jokes in the book, those were painful, but Phelous reaction to them. Besides the book is accurate. It's obviously set during the time when the Ghostbusters had to work children's parties, Egon couldn't afford glasses and they could only afford one mustache between them.

This book is probably what the Coulier Venkman would’ve wrote if he was asked to make a joke book featuring his quips and antics.

I remember one of the kids in my Cub Scouts den having this "Joke" Book. We ended up using it as firestarter material, the same day he got it. No tears were shed.

That really _was_ riotous fun, as in it made me want to hunt down the factory that made these books and burn it down!

I need to admit that a few of these comebacks do work, they just needed the right setup and delivery. I could see Lorenzo Music's Peter Venkman saying them and getting a chuckle in the show, like if Egon did get annoyed at Peter for taking the Ecto-1 for burgers and asked what he had two feet for and Peter sarcastically and defensively replied "One for the brake and one for the accelerator. Now let me enjoy my lunch break and warn me if the blob shows up." ...Then he'd crash into Slimer, who would eat all the burgers he was carrying

I had those activity books when I was a kid! Was always confused why they didn't look like their movie counterparts.

my guess is 'rap rap' is supposed to be a spookier way to knock on a door? like the raven in the poem. I had a Ghostbusters joke book as a kid but it wasn't THIS bad, also it had recognisable pictures of Ghostbusters in it. the one I always remember is 'a ghost came out of my cooker but i couldn't shoot it with a proton pack - it was out of my range!'

I can't wait for the movie Ghostbusters Zero to be released in theatres, so we can see Egon's transformation from Anime Boi that loves hamburgers to the glasses wearing genius we all know and love. He broke so many hearts along the way.

The only way you can get any real laughs with these jokes is to end the joke with Patrick Star’s “Booooooooo!”

Those coloring books were pretty common when I was a kid. I think if I had this one I would have loved it.

God that was brutal! So brutal! Anyway, that coloring book has the be the laziest piece of cheap merchandise I've ever seen. The only thing lazier would be selling slips of notebook paper with "Ghostbusters" written on them. Might have worked for Filmation's Ghost Busters, though.

It provides hours of fun because the deluge of "Rap! Rap!" jokes feels interminable (and it doesn't know what the word "fun" means).
