The bookstack in their living room when they run under the table was a nice touch. Same as in the library in original Ghostbusters.

You guys are the one of the few in tuned fans to catch all these details.

IF that is in fact Egon's farm and not Ray's there better be a straightened slinky around there somewhere.

Couple of things... Shandor Mining is reference to Ivo Shandor, the leader of the Cult of Gozer. Which means Gozer is coming back and the foot of the Terror Dog solidifies that!

As an old school GB fan all my life, this trailer meant so much to me! My main criticism of the last movie had been how it was a full-blown comedy. The original movies were not full-blown comedies, they were horror movies with some humour mixed-in. The same goes for the video game, Real Ghostbusters and tons of other stuff. So, this definitely felt like it fits in with all that. I picked-up on all the little nods to the originals in this. Plus, gotta love how Finn Wolfhard has gone from cosplaying as a Ghostbuster in Stranger Things to actually being in a Ghostbusters movie!

Call it fate, call it luck, call it karma ... I call it Ghostbusters at last! So, excited for this. 😎👍

If Real Ghostbusters is part of the canon then we already saw the new containment grid in the series several times. I think what has happened is that after they defeated Vigo the ghost sightings started to dry up within a few years and the government demanded that something be done with the containment grid. Not wanting to risk another incident like in the first film they refused to let it stay within New York City. They treated the grid like nuclear waste and buried it out in the middle of nowhere. Egon moved to that small town to keep an eye on and maintain the buried Grid and since his passing the containment Grid has begun to deteriorate.

The collection of the spores, molds and fungus in the basement was a dead giveaway. I think Egon built a containment unit under that house that nobody would mess with that probably is weakening and that's why they're having earthquakes.

When I heard the Ecto-1 siren, I friggin' teared up. I keep rewatching the trailer. I've already watched it 5 times today. :')

The mine belongs to Ivo Shandor... we are diving deeper into him and I cannot wait!
