I don't see this game having lot of replayability in the long run, unless they keep updating with new ghost or new type of weapons like on GB the video game.

Can't wait! I know some aren't thrilled with the looks or gameplay options (or lack of them) that have been announced, but I'm betting there'll be plenty more Ghostbusters games to come. I loved F13th, and still play it occasionally, so I can't wait to try this out.

@@sleakie_senpai8711The only thing I fear about this game is like the other games by Illfonic, it will launch with the usual game-breaking bugs and problems their past titles like Friday the 13th: The Game had, and it will end up going stale too quicky from lack of content added (either by updates or DLC).

I always thought an open world ghostbusters game like Tom Clancy's The Division would have been good. Either play solo or with other people, the firehouse could have worked like the base of operations. Though I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of a Ghostbusters game that was just a 4V1 Evolve, predator hunter grounds ect. The more I see of this the more I get excited for this game and with the Ghostbusters community on Facebook it sounds like a right laugh. More Ghostbusters, more friends, more good times 👍🏻

I find a lot of games you can toggle between first and third perspectives. I think this gameplay was just to show proof of concept. Heck you may be able to customize your character and so they don't want to only show one option (not saying that's likely as it's just as common to go with a pre-designed character. But just don't assume the first thing you see is the only option)

@@JoseLHernandezJ probably to make your character a cypher. I agree I prefer 3rd person, but I've played enough first person games to know it's not a game killer. Heck, if someone made a Ghostbusters RTS game that would be an odd choice but it could still work

We'll be doing a post and video on it later, but the Ghostbuster is 100% locked to first-person, with the Ghost being third-person.

While I'll miss the more realistic looks of characters from the old GB game, everything else looks pretty good, even for an alpha build.

I noticed that in the cutscenes the ecto 1 ladder is on the left side but in the firehouse it’s on the right. Oversight or is it hinting ecto 1 customisability?

Looks good but wish did it gta style that way have free roam and drive the ecto 1 places that would make really good game. And redo the movies into the game fight gozer. Fight vigo use the statue of liberty the classic nes games need redone this could be good time to do it. Graphics now the games would be awesome

When do we get some additional info regarding the game and official release date? Q4 is pretty close and there are no info atm provided. I think it should be a pre-sale soon I would say. Heard that will be launched on Epic Games. Would've been better if it was released on Steam tbh...

I’m glad people are excited but this isn’t for me, hopefully someday we get a fully open world singleplayer story set within the ghostbusters universe. That’s more my cup of tea then another asymmetrical multiplayer title.

I love your idea and would love to see a 4 player co-op element to it as well. Imagine the ability to drive the Ecto-1 and have a friend be gunner. Similar to GTA but more of a open world story focus similar to Spider-Man (PS4) with side missions, random house calls, and live events (maybe a museum baby rescue on New Years Eve? Or a giant Marshmallow Man attack even) with constant updates to add ghosts more areas (sewer system with slime rivers and ghost trains), different suits and upgrades.

Well it’s Illfonic, they have a track record of starting strong but not investing content in the games they’ve made in this style leading to player base/the game itself growing stale. Here’s hoping for Varied game modes, lots of fun dlc and lots of fun weapon variety but again its illfonic so I’m not gonna hold my breath. Side note this first person view is killing me haha

Looks good. I don't like the score count. Take me out of the fun and reminds me it's an arcade game and everything these days is always about scoring. Character had a bit too much ego. But over all. I'm excited 😊

The issue is that stylization is easier to work with than photorealism. Fear isn't about the artstyle. It's about the tone set

@@allantidgwell5624 I'm sure there's going to be scary moments. Since it's 4v1, it's completely dependant on the Ghost's play style. I believe once it's you on the sticks and you aren't watching someone else, you'll feel the suspense.

And yet an ounce of surgical horror messes me up (it's why even as an adult the episode Deadliners from Extreme Ghostbusters freaks me out) Fear is subjective. All horror writers can do is try to use the largest number of primal fears to tap into the horror of as many people as possible. The film Return to Oz is almost a checklist of childhood fears
