Ray and Peter are trying to speak to Egon's ghost, but Egon's spirit is restless and keeps disappearing. Lingering in the space between Earth and Heaven, Egon learns that his life's work with Ray, Peter, and Winston has been destiny that led him to save the world.
Fulfilled, Egon knows he can now move on. Ray and Peter know it's going to be tough letting go, but they thank their friend, and bid him farewell.

Too sad, yes Egon/Harold is passed away, but... his legacy, legacy of ghostbusters will never die. Now on Ghostbusters Afterlife, Egon's grandkids moment arrived. Thank Egon, forever in our hearts.

Ghostbusters afterlife brought me here. The movie did him and the Ghostbusters justice, giving the fans an opportunity to say to goodbye, paying tribute to Harold Ramis in the most honorable and respectful way. I teared up. Rather in life or death, Egon/ Harold Ramis is and will always be a true Ghostbuster. And we miss him dearly.

I've just seen Ghostbusters Afterlife and I liked it a lot. It was filled with heart, and clearly meant as a tribute to Harold while giving all the closure for the fans we needed. I was very impressed with the CGI ghost of him and amazed how respectfully done it was. I cried at the end. :,-)

And now that Ivan Reitman is gone, Afterlife is a perfect send off for him too. The scene with Egon’s ghost hits harder now, given that Ivan was one of the body doubles…😔💔 I also heard from somewhere that Ivan was wearing Harold’s original suit while filming that scene; not sure if that part is true or not

I've just watched Afterlife and I liked it a lot. It's a beautiful tribute to Harold Ramis and gave me the closure I needed in 2016. Better late than never.

I have watched lots of videos here on KZfaq but this one is the best!! While watching this video, memories of my childhood came flowing back to me when I used to dress up as Egon and shared the excitement with friends who were the other Ghostbusters.
