Ghost Cult had the honor of interviewing the members of legendary Black Metal greats Mayhem this fall at their record label to promote their 2019 release, “Daemon” (Century Media Records). We chatted with Necrobutcher, Teloch and Ghoul all about the creative process of making “Daemon”, their approach to modern production for black metal, performing all of the classic “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas” on tour, headlining Tons of Rock, their relationship with the Norwegian government after being treated like outlaws for decades, their opinions about the “Lords of Chaos” movie, how they feel about streaming services, and much more!
