Nice tip Will! I don't use FL, but was able to get a similar effect using WA Production's Venom plugin. Only $6 on their site right now.

I’ve been looking for a tutorial like this for so damn long but haven’t found one that goes into this much detail. The fade in and out of the sample is money. I always had annoying clicking lol

the PaulXStretch plugin should get similar results to the blur effect. making atmosphere out of perc loops is genius!! great video

I use vocal chops arpeggios to make pad and layer it with synth chord and also use a reese bass i also use some white noise and background Ambient like rain atmosphere , sea wave sound , vinyl crackle noises etc.

Somebody (Douglas Nakakihara) in the comments above also suggested to use an effect plugin called Venom by WA Production. @@tiestolqa146 You can buy Image Line's plugins that are native to FL Studio and use them in Ableton. Get them here: www.image-line.com/fl-studio/plugins/
