Think of the backgrounds as characters! For example, maybe it’s supposed to be dark and moody, so it’s a stormy night.

WHOA I’m not gonna lie when it started i thought that was a real picture of leaves on th ground! When i realized you had drawn them i did a shocked laugh... anyway the lighting and shading is really nice and the tail and body movements are really fluid I’m really amazed!
