Congrat to Mr Dan Acquaye for your amazing work not only in feeding the globe but also mentoring and educating masses through this channel. However, I strongly advise that he practises exclusivity especially when dealing with the capitalist societies from the west. Africa is a land of beautiful generous people with plenty of abundance in resources and knowledge. We have always been welcoming and kind to others but time and time again this has been reciprocated negatively. For example I had Mr Dan Acquaye speak about visits from the Europeans who marvelled at his achievements but failing to properly acknowledge/appreciate his wealth of ideas that he freely shared with hope of attracting investments that end up exploiting us in varied ways and at different levels.

Here July 21 2023 . Any Country/Nation that relies on their food source to come from other countries have made one of the biggest mistakes ever..Farming/Agriculture is the single most important factor for any country/Nation. I have tons of respect for those indigenous people on the African continent that are in Agriculture/Farming. I am eager to see farm lands that resemble those of California owned and operated by the indigenous people on the African continent..These are the content that is of value and speaks volumes.. I hope that the Private Sector /Hotels,Guests Houses/Supermarkets chains Restaurants in Ghana support these Farmers.

I would make an honest critic, firstly Dan this is a fantastic self motivation to get people on board and Ghana is too late lagging behind already. See the advanced world farmers get lots of financial free input because Agric sector is very cost intensive to begin, the likes of irrigation and land planning alone which is even just the basics. Despite all the cost, advanced governments pay because they know food has to be produced at all costs. Ghana is at the bottom pile of Agric innovations and production in Africa due to certain historical background not to be mentioned yet. Even the vendors besides their borrowed money from banks still need certain assistance from the gov. The start up cost is very much capital intensive for anyone since almost everything is imported, not your fault but the state of the country. Compare cost in say Asian countries where nothing would be imported, and straight away you can see that we cannot compare with them in pricing produce. The Ghana gov has to put it as first priority why we need to feed ourselves (like operation feed yourself, in the then Kutu's regime which he succumbed to). Dan also mentioned few crops to be capitalized on as a nation. When you consider that most government agendas are to cook up projects, borrow from abroad in order to share and loot, it makes you wonder, is that all it takes to govern?

Thanks for the ideas, explanations and figures. What I missed was , the cost of production; for instance, how much does Ivy needs to pay for her seeds/seedlings, fertilizer, other chemicals or inputs and how much goes to services provided?
