ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I get the idea that this Cobra Commander's weapons are more ceremonial than anything. A flintlock pistol is not exactly the most practical of weapons, but it would make sense if this was a formal uniform.

@@RandomStuffGarage619 I actually had a buddy who did exactly that. Jinx was easy to get in the late 80's early 90's. She was still sitting on shelves years after her release in many stores, esp drug stores that never cleared their inventory. Plus she was available as a mail away 2 pack w/Quick Kick in little mail order pamphlets packed in w/figures & vehicles around 90-93. We ordered a few sets of those due to myself, my brother, and other friends wanting Quick Kick and we'd sell our extra Jinxes to that one friend.

I have mixed feelings about this line. In the design, they are not what i had in mind about G.I. Joe. But they so well detailed! And I have tô say, they wip the floor with ML.

This is what I want for all my action figure lines, give me characters that I have any connection to, at a scale that works with my other figures, at a price point that doesn't break the wallet. Hasbro has been killing it. I don't even like Power Rangers and have 3 figures from there already. I sorta like G.I. Joe, but it's not a requirement, and yet have 6 figures (either owned or pre-ordered...and searching desperately for Baroness, but considering the low quality of the vehicle, I'm thinking I could live with the second release, but I kinda really want that cobra accessory, and I doubt that will be included in any other release) and I'm now up to 8 Black series figures, and that is ramping up as I have a list of about 40 I want.(note: I won't pay scalper prices...so re-releases for the main figures is where I'm heading) At $20 or so, you can't expect perfection, you can hope for something good though. I've argued for industry standard of scale in other places, and I think that the industry should more or less accept that "Legends" scale is the most popular, and go for it... McFarlane should just accept it, and say "legend scaled figures".... acknowledge the elephant in the room Trains have a standard scale that multiple manufactures adhered too, same could be said with "Legends scale" which would mean roughly a 6' tall character is at 6.5" and has a minimum of 25 points of articulation.

Cobra Commander seems to be based more on his Resolute design with the helmet shape, boots, sword, color etc.

I have seven from this line so far. The ones I still want the most are completely gone or on the resell market multiple times MSRP. Oh, and some won't ship till next March! I ordered the Amazon Storm Shadow August 26th. It initially said estimated delivery date would be a week. Then I got an email saying that my delivery date has been delayed. To Sept. 26-Oct. 17. WTH! I hope I actually get it. The few I really want are: Baroness and C.O.I.l. motorcycle C.I. Cobra Trooper(2-5 of them) Cobra Red Ninja (3-5) Zartan I would even take a couple of Vipers and a couple standard Cobra Infantry. I kind of feel that I would even buy a beach head. The look of the newly announced FireFly I don't like the look at all. So, I can leave him behind. Unless the bomb jacket is removable and the sculpt of the fig underneath is cool. Then I might change my mind. The scarcity, or the demand?, is making it so that not everyone can get one of each figure. Seriously, It's making me turn to the characters I don't want as much, just to feed the new addiction! So, glad at least standard Snake Eyes and standard Scarlet were readily available. The scarcity of this line makes me more and more receptive to snagging any and all of the ones released thus far. But, I've gotten all the ones that are staying readily available. I assume the pandemic is why they likely produce smaller quantities than I would expect. Or, is it scarcity by design? EDIT: If there's still some horremndous typos, It's because I keep falling asleep as I type.

Just one quick on Gun Ho's Arsenal, the shotgun is a UTAS-12 ( Universal Tactical Assault Shotgun ), the assault rifle is a Tavor 21 Bullpup ( bullpup assault rifle's usually had the magazine behind the handle and Trigger instead of in front of it ), and the grenade launcher it's just a Nerf gun if a lot of extra space age trimming. Both the shotgun in the assault rifle look like they have some sort of weird laser muzzles on them.

The shotgun resembles the M45 Tactical Shotgun from Halo Reach. Really wonder if it has anything to do with Hasbro acquiring the Halo license for Nerf.

@@NoahR_ - I got to issue a correction on the name. it's actually called the UTS 15. And it's not surprising that it looks like the M45. The UTS 15 has been around for two decades, and the developers on Halo took inspiration from that model. it was also a shotgun featured in the video game Rage. Not a lot of people know about this shotgun because it was made in Turkey.

This new Cobra Commander resembles more of his comic book version where he was always more royal in design compared to everyone else. They totally screwed him up in the cartoon and turned him into a coward. If you want to see CC done right, watch Resolute.

Its called preorder you can preorder a figure and dont need to go to the store to buy it i see so many filty scalpers buy these figures to resell them and if you plan to buy a toy for 100$ you are a bigger idiot than the scalpers. As long as you PREORDER a figure you dont need to worry.

Christopher Rea Some scalpers use bots for preorders but that doesnt mean that it wont come up again for preorder after, these figures still get mass produced in china they cant run out maybe you get them a bit late but that doesnt mean you cant get them at all so your complain is that you cant get them as early as youtubers? Who cares just be thankful you got an early review and decide if you want to buy the figure. Also hasbro can give figures to some of them for these reviews and really there are more important things than plastic soldiers get real.

Red Ninja reuses the Snake Eyes body which is nice. I felt he was a tad loose but that could have just been this specific figure. That long sword is just bad I can honestly do without it. The Sais? I pout them on the back where someone put the axes on. All in all though it's just a nice figure that makes use of the same mold but looks unique. Cobra Commander doesn't have that articulation but man If I don't love it. The helmet though has mold problems. It didn't come out of the mold correctly do to heat shrinkage. I wish he had two gripping hands so he could use the gun and sword at the same time. I'm not all that attached to Gi Joe. The show wasn't on air when I was a kid and I was a teen by the time they started doing anything with the property(but I had muh Gundams). I think the villains see like the MVP of this line plus Snake Eyes. The Joe's I'm not all that interested in. They seem so vanilla.

One store in the whole of New Zealand got 1 lot of GI Joe series 2. So some greedy scalper ordered 5 Red Ninjas so nobody else could grab one. Now nobody in NZ knows if anyone will get anymore Joe figures. Sucks.
