Great review. I have the retro Crimson guards arriving today but Walmart delayed my snake eyes until 8/15.

Here’s how I justify owning both retro v1 Snake Eyes and Alpha Commando SnakeEyes. Retro v1 is his standard outfit for all around missions. It’s basically his most used outfit. Alpha Commandos outfit is for war zones where there is very heavy enemy fire. Just look how decked out he is. Plus it almost seems like Alpha Commandos SE is wearing some kind of protective headgear underneath his mask considering his head scale is much bigger than retro v1. Retro v1 looks like a guy just put a mask over his head. Head scale is comparable to Beachead. Alpha commandos head looks like it belongs on the Gung Ho or Riadblock body. Headgear underneath the mask is my excuse for it being so huge. V2 ninja/visor SnakeEyes outfit for pure stealth missions where silence and swiftness are primary. This is his sneaking suit. Visor is outfitted with special night/infrared vision capabilities. Suit has special tech for cloaking body heat as to prevent thermal detection. Those are my excuses to own all three so far lol.

I agree with you 100% about the different languages on the card. Just use the card that was on the original figure from the 80s!

Mine is shipping from Hasbro. I just sold my Alpha Commando Snake Eyes (kept Timber though!). So I'll only have the one definite version when he arrives 😊

This version is my favorite so far. Be cool to have an 85 version, being a 90s kid who's first Snake Eyes was the color changing one, I prefer the 85 version best of the Ninja sculpts. But that's just me.

Just got mine today and good thing I am not a in box or card back collector. Walmart did it AGAIN. Shipped in a bag. Card was destroyed and bubble opened. Figure wasn't damaged but this is twice they did this to me and I left FEEDBACK. Got my Crimson Guards two days ago. 2 in a box. Some paper to protect them. No damage to those.

Try adding crazy glue in the leg and pop it back in and quickly pop it back off;this will allow the peg to take on a thicker layer/film around it (from the crazy glue and the right mold of the ball socket ),let it dry well enough so when you pop it back in -it won't immobilize movement permanently... It'll be stiffened but it won't easily pop out of the socket like before...sometimes I would do that when the joints were getting weak and not allowing figures to hold poses correctly,some joints weren't able to detach but I would sneak some crazy glue within the seams and constantly move the parts to keep it from getting stuck permanently (and avoid possible breakage from making the articulated parts move thru tough crazy glue adhesion s)

My 2 Snake Eyes figures were shipped in the same packaging luckily didn’t sustain much damage. What I don’t understand is my 2 Crimson Guards came in two days later from Walmart and were very nicely packaged in a box and in perfect condition, I will never understand the depths of Walmart shipping logic.

I dislike international packaging. I think they should go back to the old way of doing different packaging for different markets.

I love the card ID I wish the regular Jeho classified had them. It means a lot to have the character bio there at least for me and I’m sure a lot of other people.

Walmart exclusives are garbage with distribution. They had a peg for him that never got filled. Instead they loaded the joe shelf down with lady jay and baroness for a year. The other two walmarts straight up do not carry Joes. This is after they cancelled my Range Viper too. Tried Ollies foe the Fortnite Snake Eyes just for the silver visor and no luck. Instead a pallette full of origins snake eyes shampoo bottle figs...

I'm using books to try to flatten my cardback. I like displaying them in box on my wall. I got very lucky with Destro and Gung-Ho. Overall, I really like the looks of the figures in this line, but they feel kind of cheap and flimsy out of box.

I got mine today from Walmart. I like the commando with Timber but his chest articulation is hindered. Got the original release too just needed a 2nd Snake Eyes with good articulation. If only they included his silver sword with the holes machined out from it; would be perfect!

Not offended, but just a complaint: keep in mind that GI Joe, although known as ARAH in the US was and still is a huge succes worldwide! Comandos Heroicos, Comandos em Ação, Action Force, etc... And you have fans outside the US (not really a complaint, just kidding, ok?)!!! Love your channel since almost the beggining! Wish you well and you deserve to grow even more! This figure has been "out of stock" at Walmart for over 6 months. There are also none available on eBay. Does anyone know if there are plans to make it available again?

My Zartan arrived from Walmart the same way. So annoying.

The figures are made in CHINA so of course everyone over there is going to get them first 🙄 I don’t understand how people don’t get that ……it says American in its name so you should get your toy first 😂😂
