Enough with the Stanton hate. Just because he gets into a slow groove every year doesn’t mean he eventually won’t come around. The guy works hard and never complains when the fans are giving him a hard time. He’s a great player.

Yeah but imagine if he played 140 games every year instead of his usual 100. Everyone knows he's one of the better players in the league when healthy. He's just rarely healthy.

I think some of the injuries is age of course, he’s 34 now.. the big thing I think is how strong he is, I think when you’re that big and strong it’s more of a strain on the body to play everyday. Someone built more like Corbin Carroll will have fewer injuries just due to how strong this guy is. He’s also been doing it for a minute

Tbh I can’t agree… there are alot of hard working baseball players who never complains, fans are giving him hard time because he does not do this more often considering how much he gets paid…

Say what you want Stanton has always been streaky but when he gets hot LOOK OUT. That ball was absolutely decimated. Impressive.

As bad as he gets when he's bad, when he's hot, I don't know if there's that many as dangerous as him. He gets in these streaks where he will have a dozen or more RBI over a 3-4 game stretch. But then he also has streaks where he strikes out a dozen times in a few games.

The reason why it was 'only' 417 is because it hit the 2nd deck facade. That thing was going 450+, easily.

This dude is my favorite hitter cause when he gets hot forget about it. He absolutely destroys anything he hits. He makes a routine single just go over the wall like nothing. He hits it so hard and makes it look completely effortless

@Corey-pt9gv personally I don’t think the Yankees make the playoffs or at least have success there. They’re too dependent on the bullpen to win games. And at the frequency they’re using it the bullpen is going to be (they already are) way overused.

Stanton HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MAN since day one. The fake Yankees fans who ALWAYS criticize him doesn't know baseball. He is a streaky power hitter.... this is what he does..... this is why we pay him $29M a year... so he can hit HRs and Grand Slams. That's his job.... he's gonna strike out like every other player in MLB.... deal with it. I cant wait until he does this to win the ALDS, ALCS, and World Series.... He's a great player and a potential HOF. (and thoughts and prayers to the fans who missed it while waiting in line for food and bathroom breaks)😂😂😂😂😂

True.Pitchers know if you make a mistake, say goodbye to that ball. A hitter with his power is not going to get good pitches to hit, but a lot of outside pitches. I wouldn't want to be a pitcher when he comes to the plate, i would fear for my life.
