The timing was perfect for me, because Gian was singing this song two days after my husband died of cancer in 2014. I do credit God for that timing. Il Volo, and Gianluca in particular, has been a comfort and a daily blessing to me these past seven years, especially during the pandemic. His beautiful, soothing voice and personal beauty are a divine gift.

What a candid and tender delivery of a beautiful song, both in accompaniment and voice. Bravo! I discovered 'Il Volo' only a month ago while searching for a rendition of the "Ave Maria". This was my first Christmas without my cherished mother, I lost her in June, during this past Texas summer. The clear and vibrant voices of these three talented young men, filling the nave of San Francesco d'Assisi, helped my heart over the hurdle of loss at a poignant time in my life. They were a true blessing to me. I wish them all the greatest happiness, health, and success. Godspeed, Il Volo.

Jim Douglas I go back often and listen again and again to this lovely, soothing song...So perfect for Gianluca's perfect voice. And Giampiero Grani's accompaniment is beautiful, as always. (Over the years since Il Volo started touring, he has often been a part of their tour band, and has also been their accompanist when they've appeared on various TV shows in Italy.) Unlike you, Jim, I was introduced to the incredible sound of Il Volo in summer 2009, even before they were known as Il Volo...They were also called "Il Tryo" and "Il Trio" for a very short time. Gianluca Ginoble and his Il Volo brothers Ignazio Boschetto and Piero Barone have been responsible for having pulled many, many people through tough times. I strongly believe that the creation of this group of wonderful and wonderfully talented young men was God-ordained.

Despite all of their success, they remain kind and humble young men. They are in NYC at the moment, making various appearances, doing promos for their latest releases "Grande Amore - International Version," "Grande Amore - Spanish Version," and "L'amore Si Muove," the Italian edition. I cannot wait until they return to the States in February for their 2016 N. American tour.
