Greatest rags to riches story the NBA has ever seen. We just witnessed something legendary folks
@raffiliberty57223 жыл бұрын
I never understood how this is barely mentioned? The NBA lost its way a long long time ago when you see even the bad stories or upbringing all of a sudden become cancelled out by players decking out their pads, buying Ferrari's, yachts, bling etc. Giannis is worth around 300 million and still lives in the same moderate apartment in downtown Milwaukee! The guy I read somewhere has given more of his personal wealth to charity groups in Africa, Milwaukee and Greece than he has spent on taking care of his family. Think about that! This guy should be promoted every time you hear lebron's name. lebron sat there pandering to the chinese at every turn regardless of the fact they are the closest thing to nazzi germany we have today. The concentration camps, the organ harvesting and total threat to the world and all he cares about is how many jersey sales he can make there and how much money they'll give him to promote his pathetic movie.

You can tell what he’s thinking. “Dad, this was for you.” those tears are filled with joy and him knowing how proud his father is, looking down at him. They’re filled with years of hard work and discipline. Years of working and sleeping on the hard wood court of the basketball gym, walking miles each day to go to practice, working on his craft each and every day. He deserves everything he has.

I waited roughly 5 minutes outside of the store just to take a selfie with him and luckily I was able to do it. I met him while he was a rookie. When Giannis was first in the league he wired his first big paycheck to his family in Greece. He had a game later that day and realized he had no money for a cab so he just started running towards the arena. A lady was driving down the freeway and saw this man running so she pulled over and offered him a ride. She asked where he was going and he said the bucks arena. She dropped him off and he played the game later that night. He found out who she was and gave her tickets to a Bucks game I believe. That story has always stuck with me.
