7:26 Gaunson actually being right for once! reasoining is a bit off but basically you're giving the coin angular momentum in one direction which makes is significantly harder for it to spin in the other directions.

he has to be there to stop the footage on the phantom, depending on the framerate a 1 second of recording in real time gets pushed to an hours of footage, so sorting thru that footage takes time and also a ton of space on the memory card which would limit how many shots they can take in slowmotion

1:10 im just gonna say it: this was INSANELY dangerous. Like you said, you dont know how it was gonna fall. And if youve ever dropped a coin you know they can jump into unexpected places. It didnt here, but it was far from a safe bet that it wouldnt.

That's also a good reason to use SAND, like they are. Coins won't bounce off sand like they do a wood floor

@@nhwilkinosn thats true. And quite obvious or at least believable in hindsight. But before dropping it j doubt they made some sort of simulation to confirm that it wont jump at all in sand, and its hardly a prediction to risk your life or limbs for.

Wish you'd done a second drop on the vending machine. I've have loved to see that thing smash flat on the top and go right down through. Also, the slow mo shot at the end was ruined by the end card links to other videos. You could still see, but it was very crowded on the screen. Otherwise, very cool video! Can't wait to see more stuff get coined to bits. Maybe things where you lose coins? Like, a car, a couch, a... fountain? A lawn decoration wishing well? Edit: What the heck is going on in these replies? New rule: if your profile pick is an ass, and your channel name says any variation of 'go to my profile', you don't get to comment.
