GIANT 3D Lego Batman Cake 🦇🎂

In this cake tutorial I'll show you how to make a big 3D Lego Batman cake. I made this for my partners birthday, because he absolutely loves Lego AND BATMAN. Richard is the guy in the thumbnail just in case you wondered lol. I used a combination of cake, Rice Krispie treats, ganache, buttercream, fondant and modelling paste. ZOE. 😱 HE IS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! Genius hack using the rkt for the helmet! I cannot believe how perfect and angular and CLEAN you got those lines, especially on the face!!! But then, I would expect nothing less, as you are the master!!! Also, you crack me up when you say things like “I’m not the best at getting things smooth.” Woman, yes you are!! You are literally the BEST at, well, everything you do!! Love it so much!!!

Brilliant! As a caker and a comics fan I love this. Really enjoy watching your videos, they’re so helpful and I love that you always show things that don’t go quite to plan or that you would have done differently. I related to you thinking that you’d rolled the fondant really thinly and then finding it thicker when you cut it, I’ve done that a few times! Happy Birthday Richard!

I want to make this for my son’s birthday.Any change you’d share the dimensions for the cake and structure?🙏🏽

The figure is to scale with a normal lego figure. I don't have the specs any more but googled the dimensions of a lego figure and found plenty of diagrams and then I scaled everything up until it was the size I wanted. Hope that helps ☺️

I can't remember the exact image but I just googled batman figure dimensions and there were a few good ones. I did have to break out my calculator to scale up the sizes though 😂

My little one loves batman, and I would like to test my patience and skills set 😆 I think I rewatched this about 5 times last night to try to wrap my head around the helmet concept.
