Man everyone is so angry that the giant bomb crew didn't shit themselves over the ff7 remake. Acting like this was the greatest conference of all time due to that one announcement. They were hype for the last guardian and impressed with horizon, not everyone is required to give a shit about ff7.

Think about how many times you've been burned by games. Order 1886, Knack, Destiny, Evolve, Watch Dogs, Evil Within, Killzone, Driveclub. Giantbomb's reaction is the correct reaction in order to not get disappointed when the game comes out and look at it objectively unlike gametrailers.

Wow.. the comments on this video are pretty over the top; I'm not a GB fanboy either. I know Jeff, Alex, and Brad from back in the day, but honestly this is the first full length GB video I've watched. I came here to get a hit of Ryckert (Really miss him on Game Informer's Replay) but he was actually fairly quiet. This is some of the most honest, no frills looks at the industry I've seen in a long time. I don't think they sound jaded, I think they're just looking at it from the perspective of a group of guys who've covered like 15 E3's and actually understand what the industry is all about. You guys need to chill the fuck out. It is their full time job, so this shit isn't as mind-blowingly amazing for them as it is for someone who isn't immersed in this stuff every day. It's like going to see a band once, as opposed to being part of the road crew and seeing the same show 30 times over the course of a tour. They don't hate games they're just looking at it from an industry perspective as opposed to a fan. You don't like that, then go somewhere else for a "reaction" video.

I wish I could say that I'm surprised by the reactions from the commenters, but I'm really not. The guys from Giant Bomb gave a valid assessment. Sure, what Sony showed during its conference seems like a strong line-up, but the company showed very little that'll make any immediate impact. Pay attention to the wording during Microsoft's conference, and you'll realize that Microsoft had a better understanding of what was important for its conference. Who cares what you show now if it isn't available anytime soon? Microsoft had a stronger showing for the near future, and Microsoft will likely continue to have strong showings in future conferences for the times to follow. What does Sony have? Okay, Sony's got The Last Guardian. Good on them for finally showing it. It's supposed to be out sometime in 2016. In other words, fans could be waiting past next E3 for it. Sony's got Final Fantasy VII. It's probably not gonna be exclusive to PlayStation 4 if Square-Enix wants to actually make money on it, and Square-Enix previously went on record by saying that there weren't plans to remake FFVII because it'd take too much time and money to recreate its scope with modern production values. That either means that 1) the remake won't be nearly as ambitious (or good) as fans hope or 2) the remake will just take too long to make. I doubt that it'll be released before 2018, and even 2018 is looking bleak for this remake, in my opinion. And Sony's got Shenmue III, a game that isn't coming out until at least late 2017 and that Sony hasn't exactly embraced as anything that it wants much of anything to do with. As for the other stuff, yeah, it's stuff that we've seen before. Fair assessment from the Giant Bomb guys, in my opinion.

Giantbomb doesn't get hyped liked I do about highly scripted promotional content that usually doesn't appear as advertised in the finished product and I am deeply offended by that.

Dudes, there are plenty 3rd party games coming out, is it really that big of a deal for Sony if they don't have a huge 1st party game coming out this holiday? I'm sure the console will keep selling fine, better than fine. When Microsoft was leading the sales last gen they were doing just fine without that many 1st party titles every year. Besides, early next year (or spring if Uncharted slips again...) Sony's going to have a huge game coming out. And it's going to sell millions, there are a lot of Uncharted fans out there and there's definitely a place for at least one more game in the story. So, you know, it's kinda your job to be critical and whatnot but also you should probably put things in a larger perspective, and not just stare at what's coming out now. I was expecting this year to be "the year" for this gen but, well, games get delayed, a lot. Better that than shipping them broken, we all know how well that works out.

last guardian a game that was suppose to come years ago, FF7 is a remake and shenmue 3 only a title the few people who played them in early 2000's played can be exited about. These are big announcements, but you gamers always complain it's always remakes and sequels coming out. Nothing of these was really anything new. Wow, I'm super excited for this e3 trifecta (Last Guardian, FF7 Remake, and Shenmue 3) and all but you people are all exaggerated whiners. After seeing the dislike bar, and reading the comments I watched some of the video to see what the hell people were so pissed about. The only thing that I saw were people who very much understand the cultural and historic meaning behind these announcements in gaming. I saw a fun group of people taking jabs at the ridiculousness of reintroducing a game years after its inception, at a company marred by long development times, and a game introduced on stage by a kickstarter. I saw smiles on their faces as those titles came across the screen, meeting them with same amount of excitement as they showed any other game. I saw an objective, analytical group of people who simply are afraid of getting over-hyped and burned. I loved these announcements and jumped for joy like practically every other person who watched this e3, but I can also understand where they're coming from. Honestly, if you think every person on earth should share your point of view at all times of the day, then you need to grow up. KZfaq comments reminding me why I despise humanity since 2005

The most interesting things about Sony's E3 2015 press event are announcements of games we've been waiting on for an entire console generation or more or games with CG trailers with no indication to how they are actually going to play or when they will, if ever, be released. But yeah please be excited for TLG (announced 8 years ago) or FFVII remake (even though FFXV was announced 9 years ago and still isn't out) or Shenmue 3(which was bad. Yakuza does everything it did but better and you still don't care). Please be excited! Just look at all of those youtube/ streaming personalities who knew these games were leaked days/ weeks ahead of time and staged their hype! They are so excited so we all should be excited too, right? ..... In the next 9 months the only AAA non mullti plat game coming to PS4 is Uncharted 4. Maybe. But get hyped though.
